After defeating Froslass and obtaining the Secret Rank(which Scizor gives to you), do several optional missions and Sunflora would start appearing in the Guild. IIRC 1 Pokemon would appear in the Cross-ways to inform you of Sunflora's appearance. Talk to Sunflora in the Guild. She would say something about a sea of Treasures (Surrounded Sea). Go there to obtain the Manaphy Egg.

After you get it, Manaphy would hatch after several optional missions. Then, give it 2 Blue Gummi and it would be happy. Miracle Sea is unlocked thereafter when it becomes ill.

I would like to clarify the IQ Groups for the WM-Exclusive Legendaries, which includes Kyogre, Groudon, Rayquaza, Articuno, Giratina, Heatran and Mew. I know that someone confirmed that Mew is in IQ Group H, and Articuno in IQ Group C.

Could anyone help me on this?

Well, for anyone who wants to save himself, click here.

Well, can you do missions? If so, go to this site to create wonder mail missions. Try to get 5 Reviver Seeds, and a couple of Golden Seeds to raise yuor level to 80.

If not, you could relearn Fury Swipes for Chimchar. Try to do both.

EV Training.

I realize it would be very hard, and kind of pointless, but is it possible?

There is no such thing as EV or IV in PMD#2 & 1. So, whether you caught a Pokemon at level 50 and raised it to level 100, or raised a level 1 Pokemon to level 100, all species of Pokemon have the same stats. However, you can use vitamins to raise a Pokemon's stats up to 999. so PMD is the only gave Shedinja is an uber.

NEED HELP! I have just beaten Wigglytuff and the gang, but I can't seem to evolve. Is there a reason to this? Will I ever evolve?

You need to beat Darkrai. To do that, you need to clear Crevice Cave and then do a mission (found in my wonder mail thread) for the Secret Stoneplate. Then, put it in your inventory and go back through Crevice Cave. Darkrai should be in B2F and then once you beat him you should be able to evolve....at least thats what I heard.

-Black Rayquaza

its wrong i tried it you have to beat darkrai and his cronies in the dark crater pit

RE: The Official Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time / Darkness Thread

Ya, to beat Darkeai you need to actually play through the entire story line after you beat Dialga/Palkia.
I find this complete crap that you have to wait that long to evolve, considering after you beat that the game just gets boring. If you make it that far there's gonna be no need to evolve, you're likely to stop playing anyways.

RE: The Official Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time / Darkness Thread

From what I understand, you have to recruit Dialga and Palkia after defeating Darkrai in order for your starters to evolve.

I have several projects going on at the same time. I haven't seen the Golden Mask or Amber Tear appear in any of the missions. I have a Friend Bow from the Marine Resort, but I am trying to figure out if either of the two items mentioned above increase recruit rates even more. I presume they will appear in either a Golden Chamber or a Prospecting mission. The Friend Bow allowed me to recruit Latios, Celebi, and Zapdos, but am having bad luck with Raikou, Latias, Ho-oh, Lugia, and Darkrai. I haven't tried going for Entei or Deoxys yet.

A remedy that I am trying at the moment is raising a Blissey and getting its IQ up so that it learns the Fast Friend IQ skill. However, that is a long ways off. I will likely need to go Nectar hunting with my Combee again in order to raise Blissey's IQ faster.

EDIT: Serebii.net says that the Golden Mask and Amber Tear are located on Zero Island. Looks like I have some preparations to make, since I don't want to do a mission from a Wonder Mail generator.

I also wonder whether the Golden Mask/Amber Tear are superior in raising recruitment chance than Friend Bow. I assumed so, so I WM'd it.

IIRC, Celebi also has the Fast Friend IQ, and is easier to recruit. To raise up your IQ, Marine Resort really helps. Every time I clear it, I get at least 5 Gummi.

RE: The Official Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time / Darkness Thread

I succeeded in getting an Amber Tear on my first run through Zero Island West. I used Drifblim, Froslass, and Salamence to get through. Not the ideal team for the job, but it got it done. Only 3 more parts of Zero Island left to conquer now. Drifblim's Unburden ability makes it very deadly, so I will likely try to use it for the other parts of Zero Island. The ability to raise Drifblim's evasiveness by 2 levels in one turn allows it to get out of some very dangerous confrontations.

I recruited Ho-oh, Entei, Raikou, Regirock, and Regigigas. Moltres and Jirachi continue to elude me in Final Maze, so I will definitely want to get the Fast Friend IQ skill. I understand people are having a very hard time with Jirachi, so that will probably take a while to get. Final Maze runs have been very rewarding, though. I picked up a couple of Flash Cannon TMs, a Dragon Pulse TM, and an HM Fly. I have no clue where the other TMs are at, particularly Energy Ball, Pluck, Shadow Ball, Rock Polish, Focus Blast, Explosion, and many others. I would assume many of them are either in Final Maze, the Zero Island dungeons, Buried Items (only been finding Poké as Buried Items so far), or from Kecleon.

Speaking of Buried Items, a while ago, I discovered a limited technique for discovering them. If you are running in a long corridor, and your team stops when there is no message that is displayed or no corner nearby, that means that one of the walls diagonally ahead of your leader contains a buried item. This works in all of the Pokémon Mystery Dungeon games.

Something that I noticed that I never paid attention to in the instruction manual is the ability to cancel turns by holding down B and hitting A. This makes it easier to recover HP, force Pokémon to spawn, and force first strikes against advancing Pokémon that don't have attacks that strike at a distance. Did any of you pay attention to this at all?

One team that I have been particularly fond of using is Froslass, Mamoswine, Sealeo (eventually Walrein), and Snover (eventually Abomasnow). Snow warning gives my team benefits from Snow Cloak, Ice Body, and 100% accuracy on Blizzard. Since Froslass is Group A, it gets Coin Watcher, Haggler, and Collector, boosting treasure hunting capabilities. The only problem is that it is not the best rescue team in the world, since the auto-hail makes escort missions impossible, and rescue missions very difficult. Nevertheless, runs through Northern Desert + Quicksand Cave + Quicksand Cave Pit have resulted in a lot of Poké and as many as 11 item boxes.

Lol, holding down A + B is something many people already know... at least I did, even when PMD#1 came out. I always read the manual.

About the Hail team, while I am not a huge fan of 4 Pokemon teams (Impossible to recruit and rescue), the Hail thing does work. Only thing is that it limits the Pokemon you use.

About the Buried item discovery, nice find.

IIRC Driftblim's Unburden ability allows it to attack and move twice in a row. It pwns.

Seems like without Wonder Mails, getting things is really difficult.

RE: The Official Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time / Darkness Thread

4 Pokémon teams can still recruit. It just requires sending the Pokémon back home as soon as you recruit them. I tend to send new recruits back home as I recruit them anyway. This is available in the new PMD games. In the old PMD games, you had to get the new recruit through the dungeon in order to keep them, which could be bad if the new recruit happened to step on a Pitfall Trap without warning.

After doing some surfing on Google and then eventually reading the Item FAQ at GameFAQs, I have discovered that some items are version exclusives, including some very important ones. I have Time, so these are some of the items that I cannot get in Time without a Wonder Mail code:

Trap Scarf
Twist Band
Goggle Specs
Lunar Ribbon
Aerial Ace
Brick Break
Bulk Up
Dragon Claw
Drain Punch
Earthquake
Endure
Energy Ball
Explosion
Focus Blast
Gyro Ball
Protect
Sludge Bomb
Substitute
Water Pulse
Violent Seed

There is a significant trade off between both games in terms of items. I lose any type of trap protection from hold items and some useful TMs like Water Pulse, Gyro Ball, and Energy Ball. However, I get the Mobile Scarf, which allows me to hunt for items, Pass Scarf for Lv. 1 Dungeon protection, and TMs such as Silver Wind, Bullet Seed, Calm Mind, Recycle (!), Rock Slide, and U-Turn. The loss of being able to find Goggle Specs and Trap Scarfs hurts greatly, but being able to use Recycle to re-use TMs is awesome. Vile Seeds are apparently good for bosses, but are limited in value anywhere else.

Now as far as Buried Items go, I ran into some interesting ones when I was at Mt. Avalanche and Mysterious Jungle. I found a bunch of gummis and 3 Lost Loot when going through the Mysterious Jungle by using the technique that I described above.

There really isn't a whole lot of information on Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Time and Darkness on the Internet. With PMD Red and Blue, we have item percentages and Pokémon percentages. However, with these games, we don't even have the Wonder Mail legendary IQ Groups down.
