I like playing with no items. dragonexpert introduced me to it, and I thought it was better than using items, since it determines your true skill, instead of using items, which can make or break a player in some games.

Tourney? I can't wait! I won't do that well since I'm not that great (still have a bit of trouble with level 9 Mario, of all things) but it'll be fun. Well, so long as I don't have to play on Pokemon Stadium-there are a ton of annoying stage gimmicks there.

When is the tourney? Chances are I won't do it anyway since I have Worlds... Too busy (busy, lazy... same thing really) to get my FC. :p

OMG the 3DS/Wii U Smash Bros. seems so awsome! I'm going to sell my extra 3DS from Newark to get a Wii U, and try to get both versions of the game. Also, I'd like to join the tourney when we have it. I'll post my FC in a bit.

Also, this: 19 New characters Smash Bros. Wii U must include

EDIT: @hipoke: You main Jiggs? :D You are the 1st person I know to like Jigglys!

Worlds is this weekend, right? The tournament won't start until Monday, and I can definitely accommodate any members going to Worlds.

Signups however, will open now! PM me if you want to take part, and send me your friend code if you haven't already done so. Signups close Saturday (due to me being Internet-less on Sunday).

Important: If you post "I'm in", or anything similar to it, I will not allow you to take part in this tournament. Even if you post, and then PM me.

Glad we're having a tournament! The one I hosted in the old thread failed, so hopefully this one won't either. I saw the rules in the first post, so that's what we'll be following, which looks fine to me.

2 days ago my friend brought over Brawl(Mine's broken),and I figured out how beast I am with Zero Suit Samus.

It's not your guys place to decide who should be coleader and who shouldn't. I'm too busy to even be coleader if I was selected.

I'm hoping my internet and phone service will be back up soon. (I'm posting this at my mom's just so I have internet, though it isn't wifi.) That has been the reason for my recent inactivity.

I should be getting a new SSBB before Saturday. I'm going to my aunt's house,and won't be back till Thursday. But she has internet there so,I should be able to get on.

With that said Zero Suit Samus is a really good character. I would be going to worlds, but I got unlucky at nats, and my dad has a work appointment this weekend, so I'll be free whenever. That's the joy of summer. On the subject of smash 3ds, I hope that it has some sort of multiplayer on it. I want to play it with other people :p.

Make sure you use her aerial attacks! They are, by far, the best thing about Zero Suit Samus. They have everything: range, power and knockback. They can even combo into each other!

As a side note, I sure got a lot of people signing up for the tournament today (15). Thanks everyone for signing up so quickly.

It seems like we've drifted away from the current topic, so lets have general Smash discussion right now.

Also, I've included a poll that will have a large affect on the way I run this group, so I encourage everyone to vote in it.

Sorry I won't be joining the tournament. I could go out of my way to do it but I'd rather leave you all wondering what it's like to get stepped on by Ganondorf.

Notice for everyone: Tournament signups close tomorrow, and the bracket will be posted on Monday.
If you read this on Monday, and you had just gotten back from Worlds, there is still enough room for me to fit in another person.

As for tournament practice, the rules for our tournaments are in one of the spoiler tags in the OP. I'd suggest following them.

It is best of 3 (Finals being best of 5).

Switching characters is allowed.

Switching characters? Thats good, because I can use all characters im good with instead of sticking with one and end up failing.
