Gliscor said:How would Ninetales help E/S Legend at all? I mean, it discards Fire Energy for some draw power but that's about it...
sonicyellow said:Exactly. My bro thought it would be good for it so I teched in 2-2 ninetails and 4 fire energy and it sucked. But without it it was pretty good.
PokeChamp said:The best combo by far with Entei/Suicune Legend is Feraligatr HG/SS. 100 damage to any of your opponent's Pokemon each turn. Due to the loss of an "you can't use this attack next turn" clause, you'll be sniping 100s around the board each and every turn. By far the most broken combo with any of the new Legends.
PokeKid Brandon said:I try not to look/think about the Translations unless they are for the set that is going to be out the next tournement season so IDK what all the cards do.
But what have you guys been testing for HGSS so far? I need some Ideas.
PokeChamp said:So far I've put together Gatr and Jumpluff. They've done pretty well. I am also going to try and test with Plox, Zard, Flygon, Gyarados, and even a few SP variants. Any of those should be standard. God, the metagame is going to be huge with this new set. There are so many options it's plain crazy... but I like it. Reminds me of last states.
PokeKid Brandon said:What are you running you Gatr with? And which variation of Flygon?
Gliscor said:It's still a good idea to quickly find out some problems and possible additions to the deck. Like, I found out against playing FlyChamp that my deck needed more Pokedex Handy, so I just added it. And then when the set does come out, you make changes to deal with the actual meta.
