^Cyndaquil, you proved my Machamp point :p

@PokeChamp: I guess that would work. It just seems harder to get out seeing how Luxray is a Lv.X and all of that, but the center of the deck isn't based around on killing of the bench (although it does work).

I have a question:

what decks would feraligatr be put in? (other than blasoise and the deck about itself)

Gyarados SF? Lumineon MT? Starmie HS? Pellipper GE? Just a few that come to mind...

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members*

^Gyarados would work if you are using his last attack (I forgot the name.) But I think it is still better to use Tail Revenge since you don't need a stage-2 out, and it already does tons of damage for such a low cost.

Hmm, i see. Also, if thats gyarados with tail Revenge, then no it wont work with it. its main (and only) good purpose it tail revenge which requires no energy.

The last attack could work with Feraligatr. My friend at league's the one who initially thought of it.

Well for States I'm going to play Gyarados, Dialga/Garchomp, Luxray/Garchomp or Plox. I'm not sure yet I haven't gotten very much testing done but I always liked SP decks because they let me control the game. Spiritomb is probably going to kind of die off with DCE around except for Glisctomb so then it's back to all the old counters. But if Gyarados or Plox is clearly better I'm going to run that.

I'd go with Plox, since all of that Power Locking is going to be a pain in a format filled with Poke Powers. Plox, as you know, gets a huge speed boost with DCE and runs very well (as you also know.)

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members*

Yeah but controlling the game is more my style, I don't like decks that can't attack or do much for a turn because of inconsistency or high energy cost. Whoever said that was right about personality of people changing what kind of deck they play. SP can also power lock and then kill the cards with powers. I'm probably going with Luxray/Garchomp.

I would say gyarados because ppl wouldn't suspect it, but it doesn't do too well. So ill say go with dialga garhcomp

Wow, power locking is at its prime these days. Get it? Prime? That was a pun. Ampharos and Gardevoir both get help from DCE, and Ampharos gets a good boost from the new Prime.

It's just because today's format is filled with Poke Powers. Cosmic Power, Flash Bite, Setup, Bright Look, Healing Breath, Time Walk, a whole bunch of Poke Powers. And locking those powers could really mess around with the deck.

IMO, the reason because Power Lock is good is not because the format is filled with Power, it´s because most of the deck RELY on Powers to get setup, (even if it´s only Uxie), let alone those decks based around Powers.

Edit: I´m going to use Plox for states, but I haven´t decided which techs to use yet.

I like dusky and Nidoqueen

I personally prefer Dusknoir and Palkia (both), otherwise, I´m testing an odd variant with Palkia G for an unbreakable lock. I´ve got the list on the Fix My Deck forum: G Lock
Also, I´m writing an article about Plox (for HGSS) and I´d like to get some opinions before posting it. It´s just missing the match-ups, and I would be thankful if anyone want to help with those, as HGSS isn´t released yet and I´m not sure of what can be metagame.
I attached the article (it´s on a Word document). If you want to read it, I suggest to copy-paste it on a post and preview it, as it has all the codes for links and images and might be difficult to read. Besides, you won´t be able to preview it if you copy-paste it complety because of the character´s limit, so copy-paste it in parts.

It looks like I'm sticking with Jumpluff for a while. It doesn't have terrible matchups, its worst being any Palkia G based deck. With Luxray GL Lv.X/good list, I have been able to play around Dusknoir DP a few times (Bright Look+tons of damage.) It's hard, but I've done it.

Hey guys im posting to see what deck i should make for states. some i already have made and some i just have to add some stuff to.

Flychamp (DCE)
Flyphan (DCE)
Some Ampharos thing
And maybe something else

LMK on what you guys think would be the best choice

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members*

yay. thats the one i already hav ebuilt i just added and took out a bunch of stuff from it today and its amazingly fast.

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members*

I just got to play with my Jumpluff deck a bit more and it is working well (I'm 3-1, losing to Flygon, since I accidentally played the Luxury Ball on a Machamp not Nidoqueen.) I do, however, need some suggestions.

PokeChamp is right. Machamp doesn't do so much for me. All it does is KO those SP's, which I can (hopefully) deal with. I'm running 2-1-2 Machamp, but should I keep that, make it 1-0-1 Machamp, or drop Machamp all together?

RE: The Storms ~ This format is ours! *Always accepting members*

I don´t really see Machamp helping that much in a Jumpluff deck. I´d either run Cherrims for the extra damage or some other tech to help you in a bad match-up (I haven´t really tested the deck, so I don´t know which one). Other thing I can think of is running Lumineon SF or Honchkrow SV to increase your opponent´s bench, but again, I don´t know how will it work.
