Where can I get base set cards or older sets retal? Meaning stores like Wal Mart or Fred Meyer? West Coast for Fred Meyer? Hope someone knows where I can get these cards because I have been trying to get the final stages of the 3 starters and a few others. Thanks XD. Oh yeah I can't buy online soI need to know what retail stores would have them. I don't have a TOYSRUS so that is out. Thanks XD.:)

Base Set cards are going to be very difficult to find at a store. You might be able to find a card/comic store that sells them but it's a little unlikely. The only thing I can suggest is trying to buy them online or maybe taking a look at Craigslist. (Or my sale thread.) :p

actually up to $40 but I will check out that auction! Someone won one for $16 before!!! :O thx! hahahaha I will bid the last few seconds on that card if I remember, always wanted a shining pikachu

It depends on what you want it for. Collection wise, an Expedition box could be could because there is like 300 cards in the set XP But an ex box could be good too because of the ex and Gold Stars. If you are looking for a box to make some money off of, go with an ex box later in the series with rarer Gold Stars because the pull rates increased later in the series. So a Holon Phantoms or Dragon Frontiers box could be good. I personally would buy a TRR, Deoxys, or a Delta Species box because the Stars are expensive to buy single.

And would you care to share with me the identity of your "secret supplier" :p

It depends on what you are looking to do with the stuff, and also it majorly depends on the price.

Im definitely getting 3 of each tin but I was wondering if I should get 6 of each for a total of 200 bux shat are your thoughts

Well, assuming that each tin has 4 packs in it, that's 72 packs, which is the same as 2 booster boxes. The new boxes go for around $95 = $190 for 2 boxes. So $200 for 18 tins is about the same, plus you can sell the extra promos. So it's practically the same value.

If you are looking to sell all the tins, you could sell all of them at $15 each and make $270 :/

If I were to open them like most things it's not to make money, I don't care about money Pokemon is for fun lol not money. If I need it I will sell cards, thought I know the contents of the packs are worth nothing since it's BW- onwards now.

Pokemon is for fun or competitive play or money - depends on who you are and what your aim is.

A lot of people say that the pulls are a lot better in tins, but its not confirmed.

Should my next purchase be, another tin(1 ex card, 3 boosters) for 15 euro, or the zoroark dak explorers theme deck? I've been getting pounded by the zoroark in that deck recently.

Tin's have 4 packs lol. Or are we talking about the Ex series tins ?

Don't get a theme deck they are horrible all you get is a crappy shard holo and crappy rares. Though if your new to the game then buy a deck I would wait till the Dragons Exalted come out.

Well prereleases are a great way to get packs cheap before their initial release date. Aswell as a great place to trade for some cards you need.

I have ~$225 i am planning on buying a tin case (3 of each tin) for 100 a box for 100 and going to a pr wanting to run garchomp for brs

Ex series tins. 3 boosters. I've bought a few theme decks now, got my own deck and stuff. Wouldn't mind get a few more though.

The ex tins where do you plan to get these ??? These are extremely rare ? What are the promos? So I know which ones they are.
