When I first played pokemon, I threw my masterball at a snover in diamond. Then I tried to release it hoping for the ball back. Now I have no masterball AND no snover.

That is REALLY funny.

Stupidist thing i ever threw one at would probably be a haunter D: little did i know they were incredibly easy to catch.
I normally use my master ball on roaming pokemon :)

When i first started playing pokemon i screwed up my friends fire red version and used his master ball on a ditto. So then i realized the importance of a master ball so i used mine on Groudon in Ruby, Raquaza in emerald, Mewtwo in Leaf green, Dialga in diamond, Palkia in Pearl, Giratina in Platinum, and Just recently on Suicune in Soul Silver

My friend was tapping aimlessly on the touch screen without looking in diamond and through his master ball at a lv.24 onix...

on gold or silver i forgot which one it was i caught a sneasel cause i was like woah i never seen that it must be rare

I threw one at a parilysed, red health, confused clefairy. I had been searching for one for an hour and I wasn't going to let it go that easy.

I was in like 4th grade, right, and on the bus to school me and my friends would always bring our gameboys, etc.

I was playing leaf green, in the cerulean cave on my way to get mewtwo. Well, to my suprise, a shiny blue ditto pops up. I'm ecstatic, but the BUS ARRIVED AT SCHOOL D: it was time to go, so I just threw the masterball (altho i was fully prepared to stall out, since i was going against mewtwo) to save time.

The awesome thing about it was that throughout third gen, when my blue ditto would transform, he'd turn into the shiny form of the other Pokemon. The stupid thing? In gen 4 they took that away. :(

AND even better, when I transferred all my pokes from SS to platinum so I could restart my SS version, I forgot I left it in the day care.

;_; so I lost mah speshul bloo ditto

THE END. Thank you for reading my epic story. XD

Oh, to answer the question more directly, I never throw the masterball because I always think it looks cheap when a Pokemon comes out in it. =/ too many stars and stuff.

Asides from throwing my Master Ball at Mespirit in my diamond which I mentioned a while back, I threw it at a trainers pokemon, it was like a lv. 17 Geodude or something, I saved right before I did it. For the record it didn't work.

I haven't used my masterball and don't intend too. It's not really about saying I could do without a masterball, it's just I like giving myself a challenge. I don't feel as good if I catch it easily...it's nice to look at a legendary and feel like I went through something to get it.

There's this feeling at the back of my mind that I'll use the masterball for something really difficult to catch but that time never comes. Plus I don't really like the look of masterballs. It feels like the stronger the balls get the uglier they get. :/

In the past when I was smaller I have used it though, can't remember but I probably used it to catch Mewtwo in Red/Blue.

Because I never plan to carry a lot of decent healing items. Nor do I ever get the chance to train my team at an even level, I usually waste my Master Ball the minute I am able to fight Lugia.

...There's also been times where I actually wish I hadn't used it when I tried to capture pokémon's like Mewtwo, Ho oh, and Latios. But unless you'd like to take an Aero Blast in the face, then you'd know what position I'm in no? :p

A long time ago I got extremely tired of throwing Pokéballs at a wild Relicanth so I just chucked a Master Ball at it. Before that I was too lazy to throw normal Pokéballs at an Electabuzz so I threw a Master Ball.

i usually just throw mine at the box legend.....i should stop that and use it on roaming legends, shouldnt i?

thats one of the funniest posts ive read on the 'beach, im supprised that hasnt happened 2 me.....yet

Red: Mewtwo, not like there was anything else harder.

Gold: Raikou randomly appeared, instant master ball. Then I transferred a master ball from silver, and used it on Entei when I found him. I had to catch Suicune the hard way :/

Ruby: Um...I forget...I THINK I wasted it on Groudon like an idiot, and had a hard time later catching Rayquaza. I didn't plan on bothering with Latias or Latios so no loss there. Though I think I used it on Groudon because I kept killing him :/

Heart Gold: Haven't gotten it yet, but when I do, I'm using it on whatever legendary beast appears first. I don't care about Latias enough to use a master ball, and even if I want to get it, I can just use Wobbuffet's shadow tag or something with mean look, since Latias dosen't have roar.

I like Raikou the best, so I'll probably use it on him in case I don't feel like going through the trouble of catching the others. The whole roaming thing, combined with the roaring, annoys the heck out of me >.<

Though if I ever see a shiny I like, I'll use it on that. If I saw a shiny rattata or some other garbage, I would try to catch it, but I wouldn't use a masterball on it.
