BW/BW2 Triple Battles

Not to be impertinent, O Wise Dmaster, but in what way? Is something said in Japanese or have other sources stated this? I think it's plausable, based on the video that it could be something else, like what I have previously stated.
 
I'm really hoping that Triple Battles doesn't become the normal Standard for VGC's, as most players especially now are more used to Double Battles which IMO is a better and fair way to battle competitively or Singles either way.

Most people who post their Wi-Fi battles on YouTube prefer Singles over Doubles. Doubles is mainly used in PBR but considering that the 5th Gen is not compatible with PBR a new sequel for the Wii may be released to enable Triple Battles.

Triple Battles just seems like it could mess up strategies that are already used in Doubles but at the same time helps them as well, I gotta admit that Earthquake is going to be insane in Triples especially Surf, Explosion, Selfdestruct, among a few other moves.

I like it but at the same time I don't like it, however just the thought of running Zekrom in a Rain Dance/Drizzle team with Kyogre who gets STAB Thunder with it's Electric Typing. Oh God! :p
 
I honestly could care less but people shouldn't bash GameFreak. I mean seriously, it's not that big of a deal guys. =p

This. Imo, people shouldn't really be bashing the idea or Gamefreak yet until they have actually tried it out, at the least. I will agree, however, that it could be a bit of a hassle in terms of length.
 
I welcome Triple Battles with open arms. And chances are, everyone else will when they try it for the first time.

Its so annoying who you people can't except change! Get over it cuz it was bound to happen anyways!!!
And you dont even have to waste your money on the games so please try to stop complaing, not just about tripple battles but about the 5th generetion.!
 
Triple Battles aren't that bad, but my only concern is that it will last a long time and there is bound to be triplets in the game. I just hope I can avoid some, so they don't hassle be to battle them. Some of the battles won't be that bad I think it is will be a different experience.
 
I think they'll be fun and people need to loosen up. Chances are, we won't get to do a whole lot of them in game anyways. I mean, look at Ruby/Sapphire. There weren't that many double battles, despite that being the generation in which they were introduced.
 
This is gonna be great! I bet the anime is gonna go crazy with this. lol

Did you watch the video and see the 3vs3 action? ._. I think that's proof enough...considering WPM/Serebii both confirmed it from the video as well.

All those strong sweeper pokemon will be less useful in 3vs3? Seems like they will be ganged up by the other pokemon, in fear of it letting out its wrath.
 
I'd just like to take a chance to contradict myself, but
I just realized that for people that don't like these new, there is nothing saying that HAVE to do it.
Like Triple Battles for instance, I know I said that I wouldn't like them... but who said that I had to even participate in them to the point where it wouldn't make me buy these games?
I mean 1 or 2 in the storyline is ok, and competitively there will still be Double and Single battles.
I sat down and thought to myself, maybe I should stop being hard-headed and give it a try, who knows, I just might like them. ;D

One thing's pretty certain: there will be a lot more field moves and abilities. Maybe one like Follow Me but you can choose which teammate to shield.

It could still be a great new feature...we'll just have to wait and see.

It would be great if you could have random online triple battles, bring in two pokemon and get paired up with two other people and battle another three people. Would make for interesting battles since you wouldn't know what the other four pokemon on your team would be and would have to adapt strategies to it.

That...actually sounds pretty fun. Hopefully it wouldn't turn out like Brawl's online team mode, where often times you get people who just sit there and do nothing to irritate the heck outta people...
 
Well, in the start, i don't liked it. I thinked they overdoed themselves, but now, i think it's okay, but they shall don't make bigger battles like fourth battles. Triple battles is fine:)
 
I don't think they'll go further than triple battles.....or else they'll be heading towards some kind of pokemon war sized battles.

Why do you have to send your Pokemon out before the opponent does? It's weird.

It would be great if beside giving the commands in the touch screen will be an option that you can give commands talking.Another thing that GF should fix is that u can decide what pokemon will battle with the other pokemon.Maybe this features will be added and nothing is shown and confirmed.
