I really don't care about the flavor of Alex's role to be honest. Flavor is flavor, nothing more.
I would like to see alex place a vote on someone before I place my vote. If he is telling the truth, his vote should be worth 4 votes today.

^Actually, it should be (and I'll eat my hat if it isn't) three, if it starts at -1.
But that only proves the ability, not the alignment.

Ok, so all the votes are there then. Good.
Maybe somebody can affect their vote count in someway, and maybe had to remind Guy that they had their count set to 1? Random idea. Probably a different error.

@ Jeremy I'm not sure why you still have strong suspicion on KoN not being town considering the update.
Unless we have a Town-aligned killer or a lone Indie killer out there, our only suspects for killers are the Royalists/wolves and the Invaders/Indie Group. And if both groups targeted KoN for a kill, wouldn't that imply he was in neither group?
IMO, KoN is just being a little more aggressive on pressuring alex because the latter is just being so evasive.
And speaking of alex...
Okay, now that's a better handle on your defense. Seeing you this calm and confident about your role reveal I guess I'm seeing less suspicion on you. If the second ability is what you say it is... Is it supposed to work like this?
Day 1: -1
Day 2: -1 + 1 = 0
Day 3: 0 + 1 = 1
Day 4: 1 + 1 = 2
Day 5: 2 + 1 = 3
So you have a vote count of 3 today, right?
KoN may have a point that proving this ability wouldn't indicate your alignment, but well... at least we'll know that you're not lying to our face

Yup. I believe your ability claim now, though I kind of feel like that's really overpowered late game and if you're a wolf you can just ninja everyone else at the start of the day and essentially kill anyone you want.
Now I see the value of Luispipe8's role. It nerfs yours by preventing you from voting.
And that begs the question: Why make a town-based nerf for a town role? Wouldn't it be wiser or more appropriate to make a role that nerfs another on opposite sides? Just my opinion, but still.

Umm, the two roles have absolutely nothing to do with each other other than both being about vote count. You just completely made up the fact that it "nerfs" my role and then made an assumption off of what you made up.

I don't gain anything from the extra votes other than the extra votes, so his ability only effects me the same amount it effects everyone else. Maybe if his ability put your vote count to 0 instead of just giving it -1 your reasoning would make sense, but it's not.

Taking away your ability with his ability is 100% a connection between the two abilities.

Also, extra votes, especially near the end of the game is huge. You can potentially single handedly lynch someone come Day 7 or 8. That is huge.

Now that I give it some thought, IF I(or any of the others who can) had used that Ability on alex by coincidence, he would have got himself lynched making his claim "fake". That of course could have been good/bad if he's a Wolf/Townie respectively.
