It wouldn't be icons. It would just say Juniors, Seniors, or Masters.
Hmm.. well then what about putting it under the Member, Mod etc. bar? It would be easy to see there. Maybe above the Icon and below the little message you can add on your profile.King Arceus said:It wouldn't be icons. It would just say Juniors, Seniors, or Masters.

I'd support this idea, but I'm not too sure about it.

The size is far larger than how much space is actually needed. I think bullets would work better here too...
And it seems out of place below the bio.
Would it be a bother to put that field above the biography field? Usually, bio fields are actually pretty big, and I didn't even know it existed until I went to User CP, noticed it was after the bio field, and then went to my own profile and scrolled all the way down.King Arceus said:I am not going to force it.
That's how MyBB parses the field. Its not how I would do it if I had full control.
I actually had to ask in the chat because I didn't find it. It's just so unusually placed. I mean, I thought "something bolded up there" would be just a forum name, so I didn't even bother to read it. (It should be an icon.)ManPeach said:I would say one thing would be to make the New Thread buttons easier to find and use. The first thread I posted here took me like a minute to find out how, and that's how it will be for a lot of newer members.
It would be great to see some "New Thread" icons or something so it will be easier to find and use the Post New Threads.
Not only is it unusually placed, the emphasis placed on it is almost nonexistent. Heck, I just used a Ctrl + F to find "New Thread," only to stare in disbeliefe for a brief moment over how inconspicious it looks right there.Teal said:I actually had to ask in the chat because I didn't find it. I find that strange, because my understanding of a human's tendancy to notice color contrast would mean having a blue New Thread button on an orange bar would grab more attention than dark brown font on same orange bar. I speak in general terms, so your case could really hold, but I believe the majority would find it easier to locate the New Thread feature if we implemented the button.Incinermyn said:To me, icons are harder to find than big bolded print at the top of a given forum, so I honestly don't want to see that changed...
