... seriously? It would be a way to get to know new members.

Also, I don't see why every thread would need to add to the forum. Does every thread now do that? ;D
 
Introduction, leaving, congratulations, and birthday threads were all made irrelevant with profile comments. We don't need a pointless thread for something that can already be handled elsewhere.
 
Is anyone else getting a "MyBB SQL Error" message after they save changes to their trading thread? I'm getting it. My changes don't save. It happens with quick edit and full edit.
 
Please PM me the exact message you get. Make sure to put what it says the Query was.

I can't reproduce the error with Chrome, although I did one thing which might have fixed it.
 
omahanime and I cannot reproduce the error. We've both tried using quick edit and full edit in the Trading Corner.
 
We combined several of the Organized Play forums together because there really wasn't much point of separating them. It makes some them look inactive when there isn't an event going on of that type. I did create Thread Prefixes for the various event types. It should also decrease load time slightly.

While this is true, I still think an Introduction thread would be of value, perhaps just as a Sub-thread.

Sure you can, but nobody is going to send a welcoming message to whoever's name is displayed under "Newest Member"
It's not absolutely necessary, but I feel it would help new members fit in better, make friends faster, and ultimately feel more welcome.

(And it wouldn't be abused by Postcount++ers by making it not count)
 
Didn't we used to have a 'welcome yourself' thread? I'd be down for one of those.
 
I remember there used to be a 'welcome yourself' thread, cause there was one back when I joined.
 
There should be some way to differentiate smilies/Energy symbols from images in signatures. They don't take up much room (unlike banners and such), so I don't see why not. People could then do stuff like this (or similar) for signatures:

Also, right after Phase Moltres/forum redo, wasn't there a profile-based reputation system being worked on for trading? Was the idea abandon, or are you guys still working on it?

EDIT: Maybe also a way to not only see the number of members someone reffered, but to see the referred members' usernames and a link to their profiles?
 
I thought it doesn't count Smilies as images.

The problem was the plugin was coded badly where the HTML was hard coded tied to a different section of the profile. It would basically break.

Unfortunately there is no way to get the names of the members who someone referred other than in the Admin CP.

I didn't check that, but I just assumed because it definitly counts Energy as an image.
