What deck do you think will win Worlds 2009?

Okay I think there are like 10-20 decks that have a shot this year.
The contenders are
Luxape
Gyrados SF(your rogue)
Flygon
Machamp
SpeedGar
MotherGengar
Speedrill
T-Tar(semi-rogue)
Dialga G(some bad matchups now,but still a force)
Kingdra/Floatzel GL
Regigas(slow and steady wins the race?)
DuskGar(another Rogue)
Blazetran/Magran(rogue again)
Plox(2 years in a row?)
Empoleon(ditto^above)
AMU(a dynamite rogue)

I think that covers alot of the major contenders and some rogues to watch out for.

Legos could easily be put on that list and it'll prolly make Top Cut.

dmaster out.

Empoleon just isn't the best card anymore and regigigas sucks in this format. Legos should probably be on this list.

What about gallade 4... :D that covers a bunch of stuff, but gyarados? Are you serous?
It won French Nats, so that guy is probably bringing it to worlds.

Legos. I tried it today creaming one of the best players of the world like 5 of the 7 times losing by pretty much a crap start. Legos is SICK.

hopefully speedrill will win seniors! Lol...

If it wins, I'm going to laugh, with all of those Dialga G locks and that stuff out there to beat it.

I'm expecting a smart Machamp variant to take at least 1 or 2 of the divisions.

Galactic's Toolbox can win Worlds, you just need to play it right and not screw up.

^ From what I heard at league it is hard to play Toolbox if your not experienced enough with the deck.

I was playing Machamp vs. Machamp at league. It won against my league professor, he was playing Machamp.

You just need to practice with it a lot, it isn't hard to play at all in fact.

What kind of Machamp did you play?

^Erm... If SP variants aren't like the 2nd hardest decks to play, then there's something strange going on. SP decks have so many options... What to take with Cyrus. What to take with Roseanne. Do I go for a quick KO, or set something up for later? Do I want to get Lucario GL or Toxicroak G first? Do I go for the faster Uxie or slower Claydol? Etc. Most Stage 2 decks just setup then have minor decisions. What to Shadow Room? What to snipe? Go for the Band Attack or Flutter Beedrill? Power Swing or X-Treme Attack?

SPs take tons of skill, I think its funny that some people think Luxape and Dialga/Palkia/Luxray are easy to play. Those are the two most complicated decks in the format. You have to think though every turn and play it well to do well.
