What should I play for _________?

Then I would stick with mewperior, my friend plays it and the only difficulty it has are umbreon UD decks

you could run a 2-2 Octillery line instead, because you don't need any extra energy, and it counters mewtwo, and it can attack if there is a DGX on the field, because bfbx would never catch DGX in the active spot in time to kill it.
 
What should I play for my local tournament?
Event: Local Tourny at a Card Shop
Division: Random people. Pretty much unlimited format/division.
Meta: There will be 5 people there:
1. Me.
2. My friend playing either Steelix, Sabelock, or Dialgachomp.
3. My other friend who just learned how to play who will be playing the deck I don't choose.
4. Some guy who has an unlimited Gyrados EX, Blastoise Base/Feraligatr Prime that is pretty fast actually.
5. Some guy with a Lucario Theme Deck.
What I can play: LostGar, VileGar, Charizard, Mulligan Mewtwo (w/ Proxies), Luxchomp (w/ Proxies)

run mulligan mewtwo, it (assuming that sabelock doesn't donk you) doesn't have any real weaknesses plus you might want to add a few healing techs to deal with crobat drops, and it is just a heck of a lot of fun to see their face when they deck out and lose to a wimpy 60 hp base set pokemon
 
Haha yeah, but the thing is the only cards I actually have in Mewtwo are the energies.... The rest are are Proxies, but I don't think they care if we have Proxies.

I have all of the cards for the other three deck's though...
 
You should play Mulligan Mewtwo or Charizard. They're both really fun decks! :D

Except it fails to so much... Judge, PONT, attacks that aren't affected by effects on Mewtwo, and being KO'd before Barrier is up and running are the main ones.
 
mulligan mewtwo. I think we've all agreed. also, put in some energy removals for the lol factor.

should I play Arceus, or this creation? I still need some cards to make complete it, but I'm sure I can get them all in time for states.

I'd go for Flygon X. I played it a couple of months ago and was quite successful with it. Just a Trapinch with Expert Belt and Double Colourless can go quite far. I hope this helps, but it probably doesn't! :D
 
Thanks to everyone for the advice. I ended up playing LostGar and placed 2nd. My friend with SabeLock won. My other friend played my Mulligan Mewtwo and failed horribly. He got paired with someone with a roserade ul deck and his Mewtwo died from poison.

Since I know the CA masters meta well enough, I'd say that Blastgatr will definitely be your best bet out of those choices.
