@frostind: What? How are gen 3 type combos more original than gen 4 ones??? It's the same thing! It's just new types combos. You are saying nothing with that sentence, you're just saying that cuz you prefer gen 3 pokémon. Ground/Dragon (originally only for Vibrava & Flygon) = 4x weak to Ice; Grass/Dark = 4x weak to Bug; Fire/Ground = 4x weak to Water; Shedinja's unique Bug/Ghost type combo give it 5 weaknesses (just like you said, it only add more weaknesses), the only thing that kinda saves it is its ability; do you want more?
and btw, Heatran was forgettable? lol, Heatran is one of the only 2 fire types in OU tier thanks to its Fire/Steel type and fantastic stats. And it has a cool design overall.
and Tarazuma (and everyone in general), it's always good to see new type combos but they can't fill a whole gen with only new type combos. There will always be re-used type combos. And complaining about that is like saying "I'm sick of so many pure-[insert a type here] type Pokémon" (just an example), not every pokémon must be double-typed. They can't be always using new type combos, they will eventually end.... and then, you will all complain about that in the future (my guess)...
btw,
@jstar18: Yeah, I realized that too. But just because my favorite gen is the 4th and I prefer gen 4 designs, doesn't mean I will start to hate/dislike gen 1. After all, I grew up with them, most of their desings aren't that bad and I'm so used to them that I just can't dislike them even if newer gens have better desings. And gen 1's Charizard is still my favorite Pokémon despite all those B.A. pokémon introduced in gen 4 that I like...
