  • CloudlessRayne, more recently I've been irritated because, over Thursday night and a bit of Friday morning, my Internet connection was acting up (it couldn't remain stable for more than 20 seconds at a time). Obviously that caused me no end of irritation, because only I was having the problem (my family's computers weren't) and I had stuff to do (classwork). I plan to wrap those up this morning, hopefully.

    But now the problem seems to have vanished, so I am happy again! I am also very happy for your company, as always. How have you been, now that classes are done?
    Well, I've been working steady for the past several weeks, which is very good considering how construction-based businesses have doing poorly the past several years. I've also been working hard on one of my fanfics, Dark Nostalgia: Biohazard.
    CloudlessRayne, and hopefully you made it out of those little Dutch towns in one piece. Funny how your randomness ends up teaching you skills like that.

    And yes you're getting more grown up, though you'll always be my little sister. :D
    CloudlessRayne, so you probably know a great place to hang out!
    ...In a way, it's so weird to see you so grown up like this. But that also makes me very happy.
    CloudlessRayne, YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!! that means I'll (hopefully) be seeing a lot more of you! or rather, we will (Liz and I).
    I heard you're going to Paris for a very special occasion!
    CloudlessRayne, oh wow, that is quite a daunting task. Hmm...

    Do you have to take over an hour or is that just how much time you're allowed? My first thought is you probably want to make writing seem more appealing than it really is - things like it lets you share your imagination with others in a communicable form (though since they're 4th graders they might not know what 'communicable' means), although you might have to explain the pitfalls as well (writer's block, for sure).

    Grade schoolers have even less attention span than I do, so keeping them hooked is going to be pretty tricky. You want to try and think of things that have a 'wow' factor. You could even end with something like 'and if you really apply yourself and put your heart and soul into writing, you could end up a published author like me!' Whatever you think will pique interest is probably a good idea.
    That's true, but on the flip side I don't have as many days at class. My summer schedule is pretty light, and of course my Fridays are open. unfortunately, my Tuesday and Thursday afternoons are occupied ;-;
    Fairly well, now that I'm working steadily again. Coincidentally, I've been feeling extra productive on my fanfic Biohazard.
    laaaaaaaaaazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
    but pretty good! The reason I didn't show up Friday is because I was hanging out with a friend I hadn't seen in months, so...sorry ;-;
    Summer classes start for me...I believe on the 10th.
    I'm ready and waiting for you to show up! As soon as you do, I can attempt to summon Liz.
    CloudlessRayne, whoa! You're awake! But probably soon to go to school. Before you go, I can safely tell you that I've finished my 12-symbol drawing! I had to draw it on Legal-sized paper to make room for them all. First time I've ever drawn on 8.5 x 14" paper...or even really used it.

    My scanner doesn't scan higher than Letter size, so getting it into a .jpg format will be a challenge all its own! I'll make sure to scan it before Friday.

    10 and 10.30pm your time? Got it; I'll let Liz know if you haven't already.
    Why not go to Turkey instead? They have the REAL Noah's Ark.

    Ooh, that's fantastic! Wish I could go see something like that! Will you bring back pictures? I want to try and get a sense of how big it was. I've seen mini-models of Noah's Ark many times but no life-size ones.
    CloudlessRayne,

    No, we already took our final these last two days, it was pretty easy. You don't have to prepare to speak (Unless its for a really long time), You could just talk about whatever you feel like when you get up there.
    CloudlessRayne,

    That's pretty awesome. A million people should go, well, maybe not a million, that would probably hurt your hand. Two days until AP World, as long at the essays go decently, I'm pretty confident I'll get a 4 or 5. After that I think I'm done, I'm not going to study for anything and I'm not going to do any homework. (Well, I probably will, but w/e).
