  • CloudlessRayne, heh, I'm mostly interested in seeing how much has changed from the original rough draft. When I asked my mum to get me a copy, she was so enthralled she bought one for herself as well.
Second rough draft of book 2 to look over? I'd be delighted.

A work in progress? That means there's a lot more about it I will probably find out. But learning is an adventure of sorts, isn't it? And I'd love to hear more of your history.
The end of May sounds like something to reeeeeeeeeally look forward to.
CloudlessRayne, well, I finally pestered my mother to go buy me a copy of the Dream Prison as a birthday present - I hadn't done so earlier this week because I had 2 midterms to do.
Then she got to reading your blurb on your website (which I really need to poke around more to make sure I didn't miss anything), was asking me some questions, and got really impressed.

I think the turning point was this:
    "Your friend wrote this book?"
    "Yeah."
    "How old is she?"
    "Sixteen."
    "...WOW. I'm impressed."

I get the feeling she was expecting a number much higher.
Great, actually! My birthday was yesterday and I got two new games: PMD-Gates and Fire Emblem Awakening.
    CloudlessRayne,

Pretty good, still busy though. At least this week isn't as bad. For some reason since it's Jr. High AIMS the High School teachers aren't really that into giving much homework. It's strange. Although maybe it's just because I don't have that much math this week. It's going to get busy though as we start getting to the end of the year. I've got the State Chess tournament next week in Tucson, the 9th and 10th grade formal to plan for the first week of May, Consul elections to write a speech for, all while preparing for my AP tests. It's going to be interesting for sure. How about you? Get that novel issue resolved?
    CloudlessRayne,

Things are getting really stupid over there then. More of people deciding things without knowing what they're talking about.
    CloudlessRayne,

Dang Canadians. I would think so, usually most of our decisions are made by people above us who have no idea what they're talking about.
CloudlessRayne, I'll give you a general overview (all of these are in my time, so add 9 hours to get where you are):

    Sundays: 4-6pm
    Mondays: 11am-6pm, then 9pm-late
    Tuesdays: 11am-9pm
    Wednesdays: 1pm-4.30pm, then 9.30pm-late
    Thursdays: 11am-6pm
    Fridays: 1pm-5.30pm
    Saturdays: 12-2pm

So as of when I send this, you have about 2 hours to find me!
7-8pm your time? I'm actually going to be in class until 12ish today, so that equates to 9pm your time. If you'll be on after 9 then I can tell you on chat; otherwise I can tell you over profile.
CloudlessRayne, running through the iron door right as it closes down above you, like in Mission Impossible? :p

And would you prefer me to tell you the story over chat or on your profile wall?
    CloudlessRayne, lol Canadia
In and out of...what office? You work in an office now?

...hahaha, the bit about Mexico sending out a ton of notes makes me laugh.

Uganda not liking education because of clean needles sounds like such a big tangent, but...I can kinda see how it's related.

It seems as though you are having a ton of fun at MUN. That is totally amazing!
...I will have to share what happened on my birthday with you some time. It's a great story with a great finisher.
CloudlessRayne, it's fine; don't worry about it. I take more joy in giving presents than receiving them anyway. Just knowing you remembered is good enough. =)

I hate when people tell you the wrong thing. It makes things so much more irritating >_< I hope this resolves quickly and painlessly.
CloudlessRayne, oh dear...that IS frustrating. Not only misinformation, but making a big deal out of something relatively small as well >_<

I...really like the idea of them supporting you. It's wonderful that your school is congratulating one of their own for becoming a published author now. And I'm kinda frustrated as well that this is going on right now...I hope everything resolves quickly and neatly; you shouldn't have to be caught in the middle of a debacle like this.

...And thanks for the birthday wish, sis.
    CloudlessRayne,

Well, that's just stupid. (I leave this afternoon, so this will be my last comment) I understand why there might be a rule about selling on campus, but I don't get why the teachers can't talk about it. That doesn't make any sense. It's just like any book a teacher might recommend or mention in class, it just happens to be written by a student. Good luck with that though; it seems like it's getting out of hand.
    CloudlessRayne,

The dangers of not having a bell. That's why whenever I start something and know I need to be somewhere at a certain time I set myself an alarm. Usually that thing I start is sleeping but w/e. Also, I leave for Calculus Camp tomorrow, so I won't be able to respond to your posts until Saturday night.
    CloudlessRayne,

That's a little bit hypocritical right there. But you shouldn't have any excuse to be late with that much time in between classes, even if you do have to get things from lockers etc.
    CloudlessRayne,

So you usually try to? I would think that might make you late for class at least a few times.
