Major Changes Coming to 'Fates Collide' Prereleases!

Delphox saved me a few times. Dewgong was very annoying.

Standard Seismitoad EX / Giratina EX / Gallade

I never ran into a problem with Jolteon or felt the need to add gallade when I played this deck at states. Mine was setup a little different, but with the use of skyla, grabbing a hat for Jolteon makes him more of a pain to attack with. Also, with the energy removal you have, I dont see them...

Standard The Dark Path (Yveltal / Zoroark BREAK)

I agree with Tuxedo's changes, but Id remove 2 hard charms for 2 battle compressors. With only having Octillery and Sycamore's as your draw support you're going to want to thin your deck out so you draw into more useful things. Plus I dont see the purpose for Hard Charms in this DL.

Major Changes Coming to 'Fates Collide' Prereleases!

I can't complain at all from the pre-releases I went to this weekend. While I did not place top 4 on Saturday going 2-1, I did not get a good pull all day except 1 Mew before matches and 1 Audino EX after matches. Sunday was another story. For the first flight I again pulled 0 Ex's and 0...

Major Changes Coming to 'Fates Collide' Prereleases!

Our pre-releases in Ohio were great. We had raffle drawings and top 4 got 4 additional booster packs.

Major Changes Coming to 'Fates Collide' Prereleases!

I never thought pre-releases were worth it for the money. I'm like some other people. I enjoy seeing the new cards, seeing what you get in the packs and making a 40 card deck to battle with. It's more for fun than for the money. Now it's more worth it for me. If you go 3-0 you get 4...

Standard Loxie (Maxie's Gallade / Seismitoad EX)

I said in your other post but against item locking decks I see sadness in your future. There's nothing here to counter item lock decks or give you the ability to play for a turn or 2. You only run 1 Lysandre so it'll be a miracle to run into that T2 with your tech vs an item lock deck and...

    Standard Seismitoad EX / Empoleon

I dont quite understand the tech of the trainer cards. There's so many 1 of items, and without skyla it's a crap shoot trying to get one of them. 1 Sycamore seems hardly enough to turn away dead hands. You also only run 5 supporters and none of those 5 are Hex. If/when you run into a...

    Expanded Wobbats (Wobbuffet / Crobat)

Ah yes. PTCGO explains it all.

    Expanded Wobbats (Wobbuffet / Crobat)

Interesting you're having to mulligan so much. In my current DL I run 8 pokemon and rarely have had to mulligan. Make sure to table shuffel your deck and don't over shuffel as I've seen this lead to multiple mulligans.

Standard Chaos Pollen (Giratina-EX / Vileplume)

Psychic energy works well with Hydreigon but you don't run Hydreigon...

Standard Chaos Pollen (Giratina-EX / Vileplume)

I'd drop the level ball and add another battle compressor. I also don't think you'll need the unown's. I get the point of them for draw support once item lock is in, but I don't think they'll be consistant enough or needed. Id trade those 3 for 2 more revitilizer's and 1 Lysandre. That's a...

    Standard Durant / Mew

First. You don't want to be item locked T1 vs Vileplume or Trevenant
  14. PokeDad5

    Standard Durant / Mew

In my Toad/Tina I only ran 1. Really other than taking up space, they're sole purpose is to lighten your deck so you can get more of what you want. 1 is better than none, but 2 would be better.

    Standard Durant / Mew

Its looking better. Id also like to try -1 Team Rockets Handiwork and add a Skyla. Skyla has saved me a few times when I needed an Enhanced Hammer, head ringer and especially for a 2nd puzzel.

    Standard Trevenant / Gengar

Wobbuffet also will really give Vileplume decks fits. Blocks the Shaymin's and Vileplume item lock, then just retreat to item lock your opponent with his own card.

Standard M Rayquaza EX / Jolteon EX

Raikou is a nice non-ex attacker. Dont know what you have enough energy in your deck for him though.
  18. PokeDad5

Standard Dreadmill (Bunnelby / Wailord EX / Aegislash EX)

I find this deck very easy to get around. With other pokemon besides Wailord on the bench, it'll be easy for your opponent to KO your pokemon. Your only damage removers are AZ and Max Potion, but vileplume will shutdown your Max Potions and hit this deck hard with Vespiqen. Also, a...
  19. PokeDad5

    Standard Durant / Mew

Id play test a lot with the head ringers. I really loved having 2 in my deck for states because it blocked the other players ability to use shaymin's sky return attack to pull a shaymin back to their hand and off the bench. Yes only 1 Hex. You can battle compressor the Hex off the start so...

Standard Seismitoad EX / Giratina EX for States

Thanks! Wish I had played or knew more about Vileplume/ Vespiquen before playing you. You played it very well. Congrats on Top 4!
