You're using GIMP, right? If so, I have a tip for you when it comes to italicizing flavour text (PokeDex entries). Most programs give you the option of italic text, but GIMP doesn't for all fonts. You can use the Shear Tool on the flavour text box and change the Shear magnitude X to -10 or -15 to give it the slanted look. However, this also makes the text blurrier, so when you merge all your layers, be sure to select the flavour text area with the Rectangle Select Tool and increase the Sharpness by about 30-40%.

Shear works fine for me. What did you try different?

I really like how that background looks on the card. It goes with Charizard very well.

It kind'a disappoints me that it only has a single attack, though. I'd expect more from Charizard.

Like Aki said, I love the background. It really makes the Sugimori art look good.

And you're using Redux symbols. :) If you want, I can try and make a set that would better blend with the HGSS symbols.

@KKN: 1.I typed it in Word and used Screen Capture. I've been playing around with Shear, and I think I've got it..expect Maractus to use it. :) 2. I think FC was thinking about Charizard when he made this. 3. That's the trend with cards from this set. 1 attack, 2 Energy.
@ CMP: Yes, please! If it's not too much trouble. (It's probably only going to be for McDonald's and promos, but I'm considering doing some in the main sets as well.)

Lugia was almost a shadowless Base Set Ninetales. Free invisible donuts for whoever gets that.

I really like the Pokemon SP and the new Dunsparce makes me very happy. :D

The Lugia is also cool. Excellent choice of artwork. I love Twarda's stuff.
