RE: In-game Team Rates

Please RMT and help me with move 4 and its Item :D Thanks in advance :D
Pokemon: Chandalure
Item: ???
Nature: Mild
Move 1: Flamethrower
Move 2: Will-O-Wisp
Move 3: Hex
Move 4: ???
Statement: It's going to have the typical Special Sweeper Spread of 252 Sp.A/252 Spe/4 HP. This is for the Battle Subway

RE: In-game Team Rates

Replace Hex with Shadow Ball, and give it something to cover its weak spot. I gave my Chandelure Energy Ball with its high Special Attack, and it covers its weak spots pretty well, and with the high Speed you're giving it with the high Special Attack, Chandelure should be able to beat even Water-types.

RE: In-game Team Rates

You have some good type coverage, but here some other options for some attacks:

For Serperior, delete Grass Pledge for Giga Drain. You get more power and a healing bonus.

For Chandelure, delete Memento. For in-game teams you won't want your Pokemon to faint just to lower the opponent's stats when you could have just hit them with other attacking moves for bigger damage.

For Galvantula, delete Signal Beam for Bug Buzz (more power).

Hope this helped!

RE: In-game Team Rates

Get rid of Water Pledge on Samurott, and replace Magnitude on Golurk with Earthquake (although the TM isn't available until post-game) and Dynamic Punch isn't much use to me unless with Lock-On and Mind Reader since it has terrible accuracy; replace it with a better move. I would also get rid of Strength. Otherwise, good team for in-game and prior to E4.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Thanks I will let him know that anyway, are there still any suggestions on my post with my team before I posted up my friends one. Should I put in Crustle for a good wall defense but therefore that would leave me removing my Galvantula and Carracosta so please some suggestions in what I should do would be greatly appreciated!

RE: In-game Team Rates

@ Oshawott fan

Heres my Chandelure if you wanna try something else as well

Item: Zoom Lense

Ability: Flamebody

Nature: Rash

EV: (Still not sure how to)

Moveset:

Shadowball
Inferno/Flamethrower/Energy Ball/Payback
Hex
Flamethrower/Inferno/Energy Ball/Payback

With that speed stat, you should be able to sweep anything. So thats a moveset that can work off the Speed and Special Attk.

RE: In-game Team Rates

WhimsicottSubMan:

If it were me, I would replace Swoobat with a Sigilyph. Same exact type (Psychic/Flying) only a better pokemon in my opinion. I would also replace Watchog with a different pokemon (not just because it personally creeps me out XD) but because there are better pokemon like a water type like Carracosta. You also don't have any Fire-types. I love Golurk's move set, don't change anything there. Whimsicott looks good to, for a defensive pokemon. and for Axew, I would replace False Swipe with Dragon Claw or Dragon Dance. For Eelektross, I would get rid of an Electric-type move, since you have 3, and replace it with another move.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Heres my team I wish to have rated.

samurott_sprite_move.gif

Nature: Hardy (Couldnt think of a better Nature)

Ability: Starter Ability

Item: Suggestions?

Moveset:
Aquatail
Dragon Tail
Megahorn
Waterfall

This is just to abuse his attack stat, no more no less. I only learned to EV in this gen, and its too late for me to start now. This guy has massive def stats and attack, so I couldnt choose a nature I liked. Samurott is the best water starter since first Gen (none have been like Blastoise in AGES). Which is partly what I`m basing this set off of. Hes basically my mini Blastoise.

Chandelure.gif

Nature: Rash

Ability: Flamebody

Item: Zoom Lense

Moveset:

Shadowball
Inferno
Hex
Flamethrower/Energy Ball/Payback

Special Sweeper is all you need to know about Chandelure. I`m EV ing speed right now as much as I possibly can before lvl 100 (currently 68).
The ability increases Hex`s usefullness and I had a set like this picked out before the games came out in the Americas. I just dont know what to put in that last slot.

553.gif

Nature: Lax

Ability: Intimidate

Item: Suggestions?

Moveset:
Earthquake
Outrage
Crunch
Shadow Claw

*yoda voice* Offensive sweeper Krookodile is HMMM?

This guy is a TANK. Nothing can get by him unless you can get past his defenses. His Speed stat is through the roof for how bulky he is. I chose Lax because I wouldnt put him in a situation where Special attackers are around. Emboar, Chandelure, and Dragon types must fear Krookodile, since he has such a great movepool. Item suggestions please!!!

Galvantula.jpg

He will be my starter in all probability (unless I some how get screwed over in the speed stat column).

Nature: Relaxed

Ability: Unnerve

Item: Suggestions?

Moveset:
Electroweb
Energy Ball
Gastro Acid
Discharge/Electroball

His Speed stat is so usefull its *bad joke coming* "Unnerving" :p. Galvantula is a good Speedster, which is why I chose Relaxed, to boost Defense, with out sacrificing anything else (except speed).

Again I need item suggestions.

Ferrothorn.jpg

Now for a defense tank.

Nature: Impish

Ability: Iron Barbs

Item: Rocky Helmet

Moveset:
Curse
Payback
Powerwhip
Gyroball

Basically my Revenge tank against Physical attackers. Curse to start lowering speed to boost my main stats, then take a few hits while using Payback and Powerwhip in between. Gyroball for a late tank. Rocky helmet and Iron Barbs revenge damage the opponent.

Now the above Pokemon are part of my Competitive and League Team. I need one more for both. Here are my possibilities:

497.gif

Serperior, Need I say anymore?

Nature: Modest

Ability: Starter Ability

Item: Currently Miracle Seed. Any better items?

Moveset:
Giga Drain
Calm Mind
Dragon Tail
Leaf Tornado/ Leech Seed

Special or Physical Serprior. I chose Special. He can do both sides of the fence. With the limited move pool, he can only have soo many combos. So this is what I came up with to Spec Def wall. Cant figure out that last move though. Dragon Tail is meant for the Dragon Counter and switch out bad starts.

510.gif

Interesting choice eh.

Nature: Quirky (again I have a thing for Neutral natures) Any better one for Liepard?

Ability: Limber

Item: Any ideas?

Moveset:
Night Slash
Shadow Claw
Aerial Ace
Embargo

This one is meant for pure annoyance. Embargo start to prevent item use. Night Slash for STAB. Aerial Ace for coverage. I just like Liepard :D.

My last Choice is Crustle. (Sorry for not being able to find an image)

Nature: Serious (Same reason as Samurott)

Ability: Shell Armor

Item: Suggestions?

Moveset:
Rock Wrecker
X-Scissor
Smack Down
Earthquake

A Defensive wall, I like Crustle for that very reason, (plus hes just a beast :D). He can set up with the right moveset, but I dont think I have that set. Any Suggestions (Except removing Earthquake) are welcome.

Can any one help/rate my team?

RE: In-game Team Rates

Well, you have two Bug-types and two Dark-types. I believe you also have two Grass-types (Ferrothorn = Grass, right?) which means you have 4 pokemon weak to Fire, one with a double weakness, and two weak to Fighting. If you are against a Blaziken, Emboar, or Infernape, your pokemon are.....you know.

I would change some pokemon. If this helps, you should replace Galvantula with Eelektross. Eelektross has Levitate, so it has no weaknesses. Findng a Tynamo is tough, though.

Hope I helped!

RE: In-game Team Rates

Change Gastro Acid On Cutiepie (Galvantula) for X-Scissor/Signal Beam. You could also replace it with a Compoundeyes Galvantula and use Thunder.

RE: In-game Team Rates

Pokemon: Serperior
Item: ???
Nature: ???
Move 1: Giga-Drain <== For STAB and some healing
Move 2: Leaf Blade <== Also for STAB and fairly high power
Move 3: Coil <== To raise stats quite high
Move 4: Dragon Tail/Anything you want <== Serperior doesn't have a very good move-pool so Dragon Tail for type coverage

RE: In-game Team Rates

Hey. I got White and am having difficulty figuring out an in-game team.
There is no doubt that

Samurott
Simisear

will be on my team. I need you to pick four of the following, no two the same types, for me to use. Also, it would be greatly appreciated if you could say why (briefly). Thanks for the help if you offer it!

Unfezant
Sawsbuck
Braviary
Conkeldurr
Mienshao
Scrafty
Swanna
Garbodor
Scolipede
Leavanny
Escavalier
Cofagrigous
Klinklang
Ferrothorn
Whimsicott
Lilligant
Eelektross
Reuniclus
Vanilluxe
Haxorus
Hydreigon
Liepard

Don't go for a mixed attacker with Smuglord.
I really recommend a special, but physical is fine too.

If you want special, than go for

Modest

Energy Ball/Leaf Storm
Mega Drain
Hidden Power (only if Fire, ice, or electric)/Leech Seed
Solarbeam/Frenzy Plant

If looking for physical,

Adamant

Swords Dance (highly recommended)/Coil
Dragon Tail
Leaf Blade
Aerial Ace

However, what I prefer beyond any of the former is this:

Bold

Leech Seed
Substitute
Mega Drain
Toxic/Gastro Acid/Attract/Torment (on leads only)/Reflect/Light Screen/Double Team/Protect

Yeah.

First of all, whoever uses Cocaine Weasel is wrong. Get rid of your Watchog. It's really not that worth it. Replace it with a.... a..... anything that's not Normal.

Idk about your Whimsicott. I mean, if it weren't for Prankster, I feel like nobody would have a Whimsicott. I mean, Serperior, where both its abilities suck, has the same speed that Cott does but defense 30 points higher and Sp D 20 points higher. I think it's a "serperior" choice.
sr=1

Your Axew.... is wrong. Get a new one. Nothing relies on Rivalry. Seriously, it's terrible. Why you wouldn't use Mold Breaker is beyond me. Also, the moveset is awful. Go for

Outrage
Swords Dance
Dragon Claw
X-Scissor/Aerial Ace.

^^^ Two Dances and this will kill everything. Heck, it could kill everything with one!

Focus Punch on such a slow Mon is terrible. Shadow Punch is not the best option. Substitute is.... Meh? I feel like you don't really need it on Golurk. Replace them with Focus BLAST/Ice Beam (depending on preference), Shadow Claw/Ball, and Heavy Slam/Stone Edge (again, depending on which teams you'll be facing) respectively.

Swoobat is.... awful. Hate to break it to you, but it's defenses are just terrible and it's offenses are jokes as well. Get rid of it for like.... A Musharna at least or a Reuniclus.
I've never personally owned a Reuniclus, but it's more worthwhile than durpy batmon.
My Musharna knew:
Psychic
Hypnosis
Nightmare
Moonlight

^^^ Yeahhhhh it killed every fighting type without a lick of damage. It's an excellent wall.

Eelektross, I'd have to say, is the only worthwhile Mon on your team (discounting Axew, if it ever evolves). Get rid of Thunder for Thunderbolt (not sure why you had Thunder in the first place). Wild Charge is not suitable for something that should sweep. Also, Crunch is great, but mixing is just.... eh.

Phys:
Crunch
Crush Claw/Thunder Wave (depending on what you're going for)
Brick Break
Wild Charge/Dragon Claw

Spec (the only real choice):
Flamethrower
Thunderbolt
Thunder Wave
Toxic

If this is an in-game team, that's great.
If it's a competitive team (which, it really shouldn't be) then it needs a lotttt of work.

OshawottFan said:
TOgekiss this is for IN-GAME not competive....

That's cool.
Then like I said at the very bottom, it's okay if it's not competitive.
But there ARE some suggestions at least worth considering.
Speaking of which, where is your starter in your team?
