XY Huge scoop in CoroCoro in August!

What I'm hoping for:
-Starter Evolutions, at least their first stage, or just their final stage. Just something to give us a preview of where their designs are heading.
-Information on Villainous Teams leader, maybe at least a picture.
-Probably another Gym Leader.
-I'd love to see some more fully evolved pokemon. We haven't seen too many "big" pokemon. I remember during the BW leaks we got more fully evolved pokemon, like in that picture that first showed us Excadrill, Haxorus, Cofagrigus, and one other.

What we'll probably get:
-Maybe some version exclusive locations. I think by the time of August a few years ago we knew about White Forest and Black City.
-Information on the replacement for the musicals/contests. (Personally I'm hoping it's some sort of dance thing that Tierno is your rival in.)
-Another gym leader.
-A couple new pokemon. Maybe evolutions of some things we've seen, but only second stages.
 
So, am I the only one that now thinks this scoop has something to do with that game collaboration teased by GameFreak with that cloaked figure on their website!?

I doubt we'll see a second new type for the 6th gen; there's been absolutely no hint towards a second (and anyone that says 4chan is likely correct about the Echo type is a fool).
If we got a second Eeveelution alongside Sylveon who's type was obscure, then it might be a suggestion. But so far, there's been nothing like that.

I'm thinking it's either gonna be the full type details of the Fairy type, the rumoured 2nd Mewtwo forme (and since according to the movie, the current forme is some kind of speed thing, I'm thinking a defensive one. The current one would have mixed attacking stats) or the starter evolutions.

I never said we would get it this generation as it would have been introduced alongside Fairy type during Nintendo Direct at e3, but in the future...maybe gen 8 or later...it's probable. I'm also completely against any idea of a possible Sound typing in the future but that is for another discussion.

Also, thanks! I'm a huge Froakie fan. The best of the starters in my opinion.
 
Possibly the revelation of Dual-type Attacks? (It is one of the few things yet to be confirmed by the leaker)

If they intend to release an R/S/E remake, then you can bet that it'll be 3DS exclusive.
Plus if it were to be revealed, I'd imagine that the release date would probably be sometime Spring 2014. They wouldn't have it being released very soon after X/Y, it'd steal the thunder from the highly-anticipated 6th generation, which is the first main series game to utilize 3D.
(It wouldn't be gen.5 either, that's come to the end of its time. The DS is very outdated - B/W2, released last October, were one of the last games to be released for the DS. There's no way that they'd announce a new DS game now.)

Although an announcement would be nice (and some people are seriously expecting it), I'd think that they'd want to do it a couple months after X/Y have been released, to be able to give proper attention to the remakes and not have them being a side project.

back on topic:
This could be the 2nd Mewtwo forme. There's so much we don't know about its current new forme, so an issue with all the details about both its new formes would be nice.
(plus I bet people who haven't heard about the rumors would never expect Mewtwo to have a second new forme)

The dual type attacks really are not that special. Just a "water type" move (so a water pokemon would gain STAB from the move) that hits the opposing pokemon like a grass type move.

We had moves like this introduced in Gen V that weren't revealed by Corocoro. The moves were a special type attack that hit like a physical attack. Sort of the same if you think about it.

There will not be a sound/echo type this gen because motha fluppin Noivern would have that type. And we all know he is Flying/Dragon. It has speakers as ears for God's sake.
 
Personally I feel the news will be about the dual type attacks and maybe the second Mewtwo forme, as well as their typings (Psychic/Fairy and Psychic/Dark anyone??)...oh and of course Oorotto will thrown in there.

Gen 1 - 3 eeveelutions
Gen 2 - 2 eeveelutions
Gen 3 - nothing
Gen 4 - 2 eeveelutions
Gen 5 - nothing
Gen 6 - 1 eeveelution

There is no pattern. That's just the order they released them, each set at a time as it was appropriate.
it started off with 3 and there was no gap at first, and now only one was revealed, even though the new ones were both times shown as a pair of eeveelutions.
If there was another one it would have been revealed.
Not to mention there is no second new type to make a fuss about with it.

Revealing a second eeveelution that's just some regular type would barely be groundbreaking news.
 
Don't you see it, guys? all this speculation about the eeveelutions is just a ruse perpetrated by the alien nazi lizard people to prevent us from realizing the truth:
the RSE remakes are coming.

We know it's you! get away from our brains, evil reptiles!

But seriously, Sylveon was the last eeveelution. If there were another it would have been released with her, besides, each time eeveelutions were released, each got the same amount of attention... don't you think any eevelution released alongside the harbinger (and signature pokemon) of the new fairy type would be a little (and justifiably so) overshadowed by its counterpart?
 
Well if the scoop turns out to be about another eevolution, I wouldn't mind to see Eevee evolving, not into a type related Pokémon, but to some kind of chimera Pokémon based on Team Rocket's ideia of trying the three evolution stones on Eevee. I always liked to see the legendary beasts trio as Ho-oh's made evolutions of the three original Eevvolutions so this one would be something with that beast look but fused. THIS would totally overshadow Sylveon. =P
 
Keeping in with the Eeveelution thing, I've got an idea what this scoop could be:
A load of pre/evolutions for old Pokemon. (it could also have stuff on Mewtwo's new forme(s)) The second Eeveelution could be revealed here, amongst the rest of the pre/evolutions.

You could very easily be right... but for God's sake I hope not! I was hoping for something totally unexpected bordering on revolutionary.

There is no hope in hell that it would be released before X/Y. If they do it, they will do it when there is no other news and they can give it full publicity. Releasing it before X/Y would give it almost NO publicity (maybe 1 CoroCoro). It would also take some of X/Ys glory.
It may also not do so well financially; a lot of people have preordered X and/or Y (I'm saving up to preorder X). A lot of these people also can only afford one of these 6th gen games.
There's always several months after a game is revealed and when it's released, to give it publicity. This would have none of that.
They will give remakes the same attention they give X/Y. If they are gonna be released, they will be released sometime in 2014 (very possibily revealed earlier). (assuming they'll be released at all)

This could totally be a rumor so take it with a grain of salt. So some leaker who actually does have connections with nintendo (they sponsor him/her) claimed that there will be another eevolution as well as two more food based Pokemon. I personally believe this rumor/leak due to their connection with Nintendo and due to them risking their reputation (like WPM did).
