I like this entire thread and I just now found out about it! I'm really looking forward to the end results, guys and girls! Good luck! You'll probably make something better than my Musical Arts/Culinary Arts/Visual Arts trio. And, umm, sorry if this post is considered spam or something. ;^ - ^

Cats are cool and funky, getting inspiration from this thread I might start working on an electric/dark cat line, maybe a cheetah since they're fast and electricity is fast or a panther.

Ewww, bad typing.
I like Ground/Steel and Ground/Fairy for some reason. probably because 2 Immunities is crazy.

As long as you can give a plausible reason for typing and design features besides "it's cool" go ahead.

PM sceptile to see if he feels like making a team. You can also take a QT if you need it.

Oh, and on the legendary topic, we're doing Time right? What about a Pokémon that focuses on Infinity? Or, one that focuses on Time being "Frozen"?

I am doing the most elaborate Mind Map right now

I'd like to work on a nice cat pokemon (or multiple) with scorched, it's just that I'm a horrible artist but I can give some design ideas and I can do everything else (stats,move pool ect). If you thinking of a fire/ground cat we could possibly do a trio similar to the monkey trio in black/white. It could be altered in time so the fire/ground is past, something else is present and electric/dark is future.

Then you're a team, feel free to take a QT if you don't want to use PMs.

Focus on one pokemon, guys, you don't need to go off the time thing, just justify your decisions appropriately..

I'm working on the third stage of the squirrel, and reworking the previous stages a bit, too. How is everyone else doing?

Yeah, I'm a little stumped on the squirrel, too. I'll bring it here as soon as I finish my latest redesign.

Hey team, sorry I haven't been active for a couple days. Is this the final rough outline of the grass starter? If so, I'd love to begin making a list of stats / moves / hidden abilities / etc.

Although, while I was off for a day or two, I did manage to come up with an idea: ok, so for the inanimate object theme (don't laugh), I was thinking of clocks. It could start off with a pocket watch, evolve into a cuckoo clock, and finally into a grandfather clock. Ironically, it follows the time theme. I was thinking maybe Ghost typing? Maybe even Ghost / Dark? Ghost / Electric? Opinions? I think it's very likely and gimmicky; it could be the Klefki of gen 7.

Ghost clock yes
I can get a sort of litwick/cofagrigus vibe from that.

Ghost sounds good. The other types... I don't know.

I like the idea of making it the klefki of the generation; have in mind the design must be simple, and probably standalone.

From what haunted said, "cofagrigus", you could base it off a big grandfather clock,with a door that opens and swallows people whole, in addition ot the old clock playing both literally and figuratively with our overall theme. Very good idea.

Cyclopean bright red eye inside the clock... "area" is a MUST.

Are you going to do it alone, turtwig, or do you want to team up with haunted?

As for the grass starter, it's what I have so far; i've done a couple of minor changes, but the legs are giving me a lot of trouble; I don't want to wander into furry territory (because furries), but the concept calls for an elven squirrel, so making it with long hair, slender, graceful and standing up are pretty much inevitable.

Any ideas on that? when I get to a point I like, I'll come up with names, movepools and hopefully, stats, so you guys can review them, since I'm no so good at that.

I wouldn't worry too much about that. Pokémon obviously doesn't.
I like the direction it was going with the elvin queen/squirrel. I wouldn't go too far of the mark for something so small.

I was thinking that the clock doors open up and show a swinging pendulum. I've already come up with some names for signature moves like Pendulum Swing and Hour strike. I also have some rough BSTs and a few possible moves if anyone's interested in what I put.

Sure, Haunted and I can work on the clock together. That sounds like a great idea. We can get a QT or something sometime this afternoon if that works.

The pendulum could used as a hand or a whip to catch people and drag them to the doors.

Don't focus on stats and moves, first do the design and then see what moves fit. You can change a design based on a certain move, but it's not something you want to start with.

Well when we do begin on stats and moves, let me know. I'm getting antsy to get started :p

I asked James to set us up a QT, Haunted. Once it's up, I'll show you a VERY rough beginning picture of the final evolution clock. It's very poorly drawn and not completely finished in terms of the concept, but it's a good start.

I'll bring up the possible moves for the squirrel in a while, don't worry.

You don't need to make a new QT, use one of the ones we have on the OP.
