i suppose this is the best course of action to take when the majority of your actually experienced moderation team quits on you. though i really doubt more than 2 people applying for the position really deserve it... and i doubt even more that they will be the ones selected.

I became a moderator when I was thirteen and I agree that this job takes a lot of responsibility although I believe that someones age doesn't reflect anything towards this job. A keen and mature thirteen year old is better than a lazy twenty year old. It's not about the persons age, it's the person who is applying for the job.
