RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

killing a legend without a reason? really? who do they think they are?

also, i doubt the murderer would be narrowed down to 4 people before day 1.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

"True, but there could be more...I only saw 4 with what I counted as claws."

Remember, paws doesn't have to be front paws, they can be back.
Why Suicune, where has the love in the see gone?

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

(Awwwwright, now we got this game started!)

At last, the shiny Vaporeon joined amongst the others at the deathbed of Suicune. Curiously the ridges on her neck flexed, as a terrible, awful gut feeling spread through her veins. Suicune had been a close friend of hers, and to see the body so...tangled, Suicune's fur singed down to nearly nothing...she had to do something, to avenge her friend's death.

She gazed at the others. "...based off of the facts we have so far, the perpetrator is leaving quite an obvious trail here..."

She paused, before taking a moment to drag a waterproof notebook out with her mouth. The poems had been printed out on them in waterproof ink, and she quickly reiterated what they had to say.

"First off is the fact that the narrator used 'paws' in the poem. Now, that obviously leaves only a few perpetrators here, myself included. ...however, there was something that piqued my interest about the following lines..."

when suddenly, a paw grabbed him, dragging him to the surface!

"If you ask me," Maelstra continued, "There are very few Pokemon with enough strength to carry a Suicune up and out to the surface with a single paw. I think this will further narrow it down for us to make a decisive call on this.

"I'm not through, though..."

the murderer used Hidden Power fire.

"Based off of this fact, and looking into the fact that Hidden Power is a special move, we must assume that whomever did this had to have substantial power in order not just to knock out, but to kill one of the more powerful defensive Pokemon. It's almost as if the murderer thinks this is all a game.

"Lastly, we have the bomb and the note. Again, in order to have placed something in the bomb and to drop it from the surface, hands-or fins, at least- must have been needed. Let's go over what the poem says again..."

Water here, ice there,
Everybody is drenched in despair.
To have peace and joy again,
All must burn as life began
In order to come back stronger.
Come and find me.
-M

"M can probably be safely assumed as 'murderer', as in past games it has been used in a similar way. It's probably a fast, easy way to make us know that he/she is the murderer. What's really interesting is the fact that the murderer is attempting to 'burn' all away to make everything come back stronger. I have an idea that that somehow will be important to us."

"Now, based on all of these facts, we're...kind of left with a tough guess here. Whereas Kyogre really doesn't have paws, it IS the only one with the potential strength to not only drag Suicune out of the water, but to do some serious damage with Hidden Power fire. While Swampert and Feraligatr could also be seen as having 'paws' to a certain extent, I'm not so convinced that they could pull off enough power to kill...to kill..."

At that, Maelstra had to turn away. True, she was going to try and help Suicune rest in peace as much as she could by trying to catch the real killer, but it was just too much. The sudden loss of a friend, a comrade...why? Why would anyone want to kill Suicune...?

(God sorry I haven't roleplayed in so long there's probably so many spelling errors and junk @_@)

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

^Amazing RPing

Sorry for posting, but can we get rid of Night 0 because it meant that I had no opportunity to play the game whatsoever.

It will mean that I have to wait 1 month plus (if the last game is anything to go by) to play this game again.

Not fair, no?

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

Did anyone not think of water and ice? That could mean a water and ice type, which makes me think Lapras. Paws can mean Mudkip, Swampert, Psyduck, or Feraligatr. If I am not mistaken, according to Bublapedia, Lapras has been hunted lately, making the population lower. Malestra, you are definitely a major help to us. *But think for a second, Joey thought to himself. Lapras is a staller, so that could mean Calm Mind...* Sorry, did I space out? My bad, I do that alot! Still, I think Lapras might be main suspect along with Feraligatr or Swampert.

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

(yeah, it's kinda not fair that IE got kicked without a chance. :/ And you flatter me WAY too much it's junk ASDF)

After listening to the Piplup, Maelstra turned around and shook her head. She was still clearly suffering from the sudden loss. "Lapras could not be the one. A lack of paws to drag...Suicune out of the water would rule that out, I think. Perhaps the 'ice' refers to 'Ice Espeon'? If so...what sort of clue could that give us, what with the murderer repeating who he/she is killing?"

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

True. That means someone muscular. I guess that rules out Mudkip and Psyduck. That leaves Swampert and Feraligatr... *Sees a shadow coming* Yikes! *Dives into the water near the dead Suicune to look for evidence*

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

Lanturn opened his eyes in horror as he saw that Suicune had died. Suicune one of the most powerful pokemon dead? Impossible! As Lanturn looked over the newspaper he had seen that there seemed to be a paw that dragged Suicune to the surface. There were many pokemons with claws, tiny paws to big paws, there were too many paws to give a idea on who the suspect could have been. Lanturn swam with the other pokemon to look at Suicune's body before making any assumptions.

"What a horrible thing to do...

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

*Sees a light shining* Oohh, pretty! *Swims up to Lanturn* Hi! I'm Joey! *Looks back at Suicune* We were just playing yesterday with a school of Marshtomp... *Starts to sob* Mind helping me? I need to find my adoptive father's killer!

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

OOC: I hope I don't get murdered night 2 again. That happened to me in both the previous games.

IC: Who would do something like this? I hope whoever did it will pay!

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

Lanturn? Hello? *Lanturn affixed on playing Wooper* Sigh... *Swims down* That's weird. With good lighting, these marks can be more visible. *Swims back up* Lanturn, check this out!

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

hm, keeping notes should help us figure out who the murderer is. *gets notepad*

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

Feraligatr sighed. Or, at least, he did as much as he could underwater. He was used to suspicion, even prejudice, but this was unbearable. People were staring at him, then, when he met their gaze, turning rapidly away as if to be safer if unnoticed. He was big, true, and dangerous, but that was no reason to suspect him. After all, legendaries were far larger and more powerful than him! Why should he be any worse?

He punched the ground in anger, but his emotions quickly subsided. There was no reason to get angry. Nobody would try to kill him on a gut feeling. But still...

People were more likely to take his phsyicalaties in mind when chosing who might be guilty. He looked down. He needed a friend.

He looked around the murder scene. There seemed to be one pokemon who was weeping... again, underwater weeping... over the body. Feraligatr slowly swam over to the pokemon. She? was an Espeon. He gently said,
"Was Suicune a friend of yours?"

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

OoC: Sorry for my lack of activity. I'm home this weekend, so it's gotten more difficult to get to a computer. Frankly, I'm not too surprised that Suicune was killed right off the bat. In Murder II, I played the role of Suicune and was accused (falsely, of course) and killed at the end of the first day.

Suicune's gone? Well, that would partially explain the lack of clean drinking water. But who among us has Hidden Power fire? We need more clues. *dives down to the crime scene*

Hey, Suicune's dead again? I can't believe it. Especially after Suicune said he was going to be more careful after the council incident, hey...

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

Eek! Big alligator! *Joey swims behind Suicune* This should buy me time away from that scary thing! *Sees a Mudkip swimming toward him* What the... *Ho-oh Flies over the Sky, providing a little light for Lanturn to fully charge, illuminating the cave* Markings! Ugh! They are in Unown! *Swims to Mudkip* Hi, I'm Joey! Is there any chance you know Unown?

RE: Murder III: Deep, Dark Cavern: Day 1 Begins!

OoC: Crystal, here's a picture for you. (91 x 100)

Hey Joey. I might be able to read Unown, but you'll have to give me some time. *takes out a notebook and pen and starts translating the glyphs*

OoC: Seriously, where do we get these notebooks?
