Well, I didn't get to comment on the last round, but here goes:
Wes - Great Banner. I really wish I could put it in my sig, but I love my Brawl Card. I just love the Effort you put in to it.
This round does sound tough, but since it's in a group, it should ease up on the difficulty somewhat. It does look like this is going to eliminate a lot of people though, seeing as they don't even get what they have to do. I would word the challenge a little bit, B-Ray, and put some more similar examples up. I was looking forward to what you would do for the 2nd Challenge as well..Can't wait for the entries in this round.

The group can be easier or harder....I tried to make them all fair as far as talent, and I dont think I could have explained the challenge any more. I included a link that explains it AND has some examples. I didnt make an example of what I would do as mine got COMPLETLY ignored the last time.....but I have a great idea of what Im doing for this challenge. I too am looking forward to the entries.....hope they have some good ideas! Theyre gonna need it xD

Yeah, it depends on how you look at it. I'm, personally, not good with groups, so that makes this challenge harder. For some that are great at group work and working together on any kind of project, this will be easier for them. Most of the time, and I think in this challenge, specifically, they'll have a hard time on this one. I liked how you grouped the winners of the past two challenges together. It will be interesting to see what Wes and Moneyking can show.

Well partner challenges have been one of the main ideas since before I made the thread.....I can tie in the concept of what I want the challenge to bring, as well as encourage collaboration between artists. Who knows? We may see some GREAT joint shops come out of Project Custom....

^That would be interesting. I'd be hard to keep up with the amount of banner requests they'd recieve though, lol.
I agree with what d master said about groups. How they handle them and how well they like them will depend on the person. Personally, I couldn't tolerate being with another person in an art challenge. I'd have my way of doing something, and, unless they were very submissive, they would have thier own. Art is a hard area to compromise on, which makes me very interested to see how people will handle it.

Well Collaboration is usually very popular and very effective in art.....the quicker people learn how to work with others artistically, the better the products we see. I COMPLETLY understand that some artists like to work by themselves, but working together to achive a common goal goes into a whole new level of play. I havent seen anything yet, but Im hoping to see some amazing Avant-Garde Art this week.....I'm also doing an example which should be fun!

EDIT: Also Princess of the Dark has DROPPED OUT of Project Custom due to time issues.....since Group #2 will only have Two Artists instead of the Three they were promised, they will only have to do two pieces and will get +4 on their Final Average Score for Challenge #3. I suggest all judges take into account that this is kinda last minute.....Its not anybodys fault, so please take that into account while judging. Thank You :]
Spoon: Please don't use purple to edit your post, it's rather confusing at times, really. You don't have to colour it anyways, bolding, or something probably does the trick.

Well, depending on how this one goes, I probably will hold another one.....I've already had artists ask me that so I think we'll get even more talented artists to choose from next time. Depending on how fast this one ends, another will be shortly following most likely.

I'd be careful about starting another one immediatley after this b-ray; you might have to make it different or let people have a break, or they just won't be that interested.

Sorry guys, Im not pressuring for another Project Custom to begin immediately after this one. I was just expressing my interest in there being another at some point in the future.

Well, it will be different.....of coarse next seasons Project Custom will have new rules, new challenges, new artists, and some new judges. Im hoping to plan ahead and get stuff ready so I can start it a week after this one ends. I did say I have a couple artists who want to be in the next one already and most people in this one will get an invite for the next one if their interested. Well just have to see and play it by ear as of now.

Andyman-Not nessesarily.....you need one piece each but it dosent have to do with you....it just has to be a new fresh creative piece of art thats nothing like anybodys ever seen before. Remember your group members are fully allowed to work on the banner as long as theirs one final per member.
