The only thing is we ALL know if someone puts that as an entry they will be out, it just isn't... custom enough. I noticed the dont need pokemon thing AFTER I started mine so mine is pokemon, makes it more fun anyway!

Im glad you like it.....gamercal said he'd use that as his avvy.....I was hoping for a better entry, but when I tried to make it jump in it didnt work well :/ I might try to do it later when Im less stressed....the last time I tried it looked like he was gay.

Ok here is my first entrie (b pliz)
I never originally saw the thing about not needing pokemon but I figured sence I already started, o well!
Time: 4 hours
Umm i made it so that the ninja boy was hiding in the "Trees" in the area and shows how that is like a spy hiding to get into somewhere or spying from the trees.

As much as I hate to say it, I think this may be where my wits meet their end... I'm even more clueless than I was in challange #3. lol Who knows, though... I may be able to think up a nice idea... hopefully. lol

ALmost forgot to comment on your example, BR. lol I'll be honest here... The animation is nice, but the stick figure part completely ruins it, IMO. A simple black stick figure against a detailed-metal background just doesn't go too well together IMO. Otherwise, it's a very cool piece. xD

Ya, I think it would be better if you didn't have the whole stick figure, just the head, and maybe another one coming in.

I understand what you're saying.....but I had the idea of the stick figure from the start. I think that animation is much funner personally with a stick figure.....and It was an original take on using one. The Steel Metal backround was for really the appeal that what he (the figure) was doing was very secret. Something Shiny is something saught after (thinks of weird gremlin guy in LOTR) so I think the backround fit well there. I would have liked the stick figure to have had more effects, but the backround didnt work with the Program I wanted to use for the stick figure animation, thus it wasnt as cool. But the side to side turns took the most work.....I had to take at least an hour figuring out how to do that. But yeah, the Stick Figure brought the kind of simple feel to it.....I didnt want to use a Sprite as EVERYONE uses sprites, but I've never seen a Stick Spy. I wanted the simple feel as spy's truly make things look simple. So I hope I explained all the needed to be....Im glad you liked it :]

yeah, I really wanted to mix it up with the Spy Challenge.....I figure since not all art is pokemon-related, mine as well open it up once and see what happens.

You will be replacing Gamercal this round, but no there will be no permanent replacment judges. I think 5 was a better choice to begin with, I only had 7 because I had asked 6 and they all accepted, so I added a 7th. 5 Still brings that majority and it should be quicker to get scoring done, which is my main priority. Thanks for the compliment :] Im working on a new one which should be fun....

Relation to Challenge
NOTE: I maintained my avatar as Pokemon-related to symbolize that I'm a Pokemon fan in heart despite the fact that this Challenge is the only one in Project Custom that does NOT have to be Pokemon-related. And because it's very hard for me to create a non Pokemon-related artwork. It will be a new experience for me if I do that and I'm already adept at making artworks that are Pokemon-related, unlike creating an artwork that is totally not Pokemon-related. Plus, the challenge only allows to create a non Pokemon-related artwork, but not actually restricts us from making a Pokemon-related one.
Spy theme :duh:... I can't understand it. To blend with the word spy, I chose some spies for the images (which are Giovanni's spies: Annie and Oakley). It's because the first thing that appears in my mind when I hear the word "spy" were actually Annie and Oakley. I absolutely chose these good-looking spies from Pokemon Heroes because they are my favorite and they are well-equipped in the movie. These spies use all kinds of high-tech gadgets to search for Latias and Latios in the canal city of Altomare. And they are somehow intelligent too, (as Giovanni's spies). Unfortunately for them, they failed on their mission on the end of the movie and was thrown in jail.....
And I tried to emphasize their eyes by darkening the image (via animation effects) until the eyes were left as the visible part. To further emphasize that, I used these green beam effects that intersect/meet in their eye/s. I want to emphasize the 'eyes/s' because for me (my opinion...), the eyes are one of the symbols that appropriately describe spying. Eyes, together with the other senses, are used to collect informations needed. And of course, you have to be attentive with your eyes if you want to report reliable and needed informations. But don't mistake me on this one, I'm not trying to tell that the other senses are not important, it's just that because the eyes are somehow really needed, and it will be quite difficult to spy without the eyes. Sometimes if possible, eyes are used to justify or support what you actually hear (if they are lies or truths). Eyes are also helpful if you want to collect written informations in their computers,books,personal diaries and many other possible references.

The challenges are getting hard (but I like it !!) and I have the feeling that I'll be out this turn around. I'll use this opportunity to bid goodbye to all of you if somehow I'll be the next one to be dropped from the list. I certainly enjoyed Project Custom, and I'm proud I've been selected in here as one of the fifteen contestants who are very good in spriting and making banners etc... But I think this is the end for me. I'm very busy in my real life, and I know you all know it too. With the increase of my homeworks plus studying for the successive exams in the school, I certainly can't think straight on the ideas I have to use for this challenge. And studying would be my first priority, I'll rather study for the exam overnight than going to make my avatar "the most perfect" (and thus leaving the study habits behind, the result will probably be low grades in school...). I'm happy to be part of Project Custom. By the way, good luck for the remaining participants, especially Moneyking63, who won two times from the previous challenges (and because he is really doing very well in the contest, I mean REALLY) and it's also because he rocks ! And B-Ray, I congratulate you for making the contest great and well-organized, and I thank you for making the contest one of the greatest contests I've ever participated.
