RE: The Angels
Drey walked into the large apartment building. The inside looked very well kept, with black faux leather furniture in the lobby. There was a door man who looked to be about 50, with grey hair and a kind face. He tipped his hat to Drey.
"Excuse me" Drey said to the man. "I'm new here and I'm looking for a place to stay. You wouldn't happen to..."
"Of course!" replied the man. "Which floor would you like?"
"You wouldn't happen to have an open roof-top pent house, would you?"
"As a matter of fact..." The man motioned Drey to the elevator, and pressed the top floor button. The elevator lurched to life and quickly took them up. The doors opened up directly to the pent house and the door man beckoned him in. Drey was speechless. It was perfect! There was a couch and two chairs much like the ones in the lobby, a widescreen TV and hardwood floors. There was a kitchen already filled with food and0 a bar already stoked with drinks. And the walls were huge windows over looking central park. There was also a balcony that had chairs and tables, and best of all a hot tub. Now he knew he was in heaven.
"Don't worry about people entering with out permission" the door man said. This had not occured to Drey yet, but the elevator did enter right into his living room. "Only you or I can access this floor, unless you allow someone else to"
"Thank you" replied Drey. "I can't believe this was available!"
"Well, this is the afterlife, after all"
