Goku can fly. Goku was here waaaaaayyyy before Vegeta. Theirs sayians. Obviously their similar. Sonics Similar to Shadow and Turbo. And plus I've already said lets talk about other characters, somebody put Goku back into the conversation. I was talking about Link, before Goku was brought into this again.

Considering that Link is still a regular human, no matter how masssive his arsenal can be he doesn't have the power behind it to be able to do that much.
Knuckles can shatter boulders with his fists. That's it. If you can't do that you may as well not nominate them. He just scrapes past, though the super form may be usable.
Yeah, we're not discluding the Manga world; we should go into comics like DC to look for stronger ones. It's entirely possible that someone in DC or Marvel can overpower Goku. Good luck with that though.

Link, has the power bracelets. As toon link, he threw a rock the size of a small house. Don't forget about the arrows. He'll freeze you with the ice arrows and crush you with the skull or megaton arrows. None of the other characters can regenerate to heal from that. He has the Pegasus Boots for speed. I think thats what their called. I think they also allow him to run on water. Not sure. He also has the Fierce Deity's Mask. And a Deity is a god.
Link is the best swords men but there's no way he can stand up against shadow.
Shadow's not in brawl. And Sonic is. Sonic beat Shadow many times. And that means Link has to face the stronger of the two Sonic characters. It dependa on who's using him. If Link puts on the Fierce Deity's Mask, its all over for Shadow. Link is an excellent archer too. He'll use the
hookshot/clawshot to grab Shadow and pierce his sword through Shadow's head. Sonic's better then Shadow. And since Link goes head to head with Sonic, then he can definitly take out Shadow. Or he'll freeze him with the ice arrows and hit him with the megaton hammer to shatter him. Sure Shadow's fast but Link's reflexes and skill are superb. It takes Shadow time to build up speed and momentum. If Shadow gets close, link will protect himself with Nayru's Love, and attack with Din's Fire. Din's fire causes a blast about as big as Chaos Blast. It also costs Shadow some speed to turn. Shadow dies after he gets hit without any rings, I'm not sure, but I think their was a pot either in Minish Cap, or Links awkening, that he uses the pot to suck up things. All the rings will be sucked into the pot. No it was in Minish Cap. He'll suck Shadow's rings away and hit him by teleporting using Faros wind (spelled wrong. Sorry) and deliver the final blow. Or he'll pull Shadow in with the Gale Boomerang and strike. He could also hit Shadow with the Fierce Deity's Mask beams from the double helix sword. Remember, it takes Shadow time to build up speed. If he gets the Chaos Emeralds then Link will teleport away and wait for him to run out of rings. He could also suck his rings and the emeralds away using that pot thing from the Minish Cap Game. Chaos Control slows time down, if Links in the Nayru's wind bubble, then it won't affect him because its a protective/reflective shield.

Dude, seriously, does anyone ever back up their arguements? By anyone, I mostly mean LordZapdos. Give some sort of evidence that he can do X or whatever.

I've been gone for a while.
1: Sonic didn't kill Shadow because the island was going to blow up.
2: It takes Shadow time to build up speed.
3: Chaos Control slows time down.
4: It does not harm you.
5: Naru's Love protects Link. Chaos control will not work. I clearly stated that. Din's Fire and Naru's Love aren`t the cheap kind like in Smash Bros. Melee and Brawl. Narus love last for like a minute and a half. Din's fire has a large blast radius, a giant flame circle flows around you and then expands about 30 meters. While this is happening you are invincible.
6: If you saw the final boss battle in Majora's Mask, then you would have known how difficult he was.
7: When Link put on the Fierce Deity's Mask, the battle was extremely easy. With it, ten hits was enough opposed to 50. And he had 3 Forms so its technically 30 opposed to 150. One of his forms called Majora's Wrath ran faster then Shadow and Link still took him down, with or without the Fierce Deity's mask. It didn't take him time to build momentum either. The scariest part is, when you hit him, he screams like Michael Jackson. (Shivers.)

Whatever naru's love is If you have played Sonic adventure 2 battle multi player you would know that chaos control stops time warps things to other demonsions speed up time and slow time so Shadow can just warp Link to another deminsion if he does not have naru's love
If you've ever played as Metal Sonic, the special attacks don't affect him if he's inside the barrier. Link has many weapons, he's not going to just leave it behind. Naru's Love, Dins Fire, and Faroe's Wind are the three gods that represent the Triforce. The barriers of Metal Sonic, and Naru's Love are shaped similarly and both rotate. I never said Link will use the emeralds.
Oh ok thats what they are. Well anways without chaos control Shadaw still can literaly run circles around him and then attack in a ball shaped figure like sonic does and Link won't have a chance to pull out his swords or arrows and then Shadow will strike again reapetedly until Link dies.

Anyway, if Shadow was circling him, Link would use Din's Fire. It keeps him in a large 10 meter ball then expands to 30 meters. Shadow would get hit and set ablaze. Link would freeze Megaman, and then blast him to pieces with a bomb or the Skull/Megaton hammer.
