I usually go with the grass starters, except in the case of Treecko. I chose Torchic that time... I'm worried that I might not like this grass starter and will have to choose one of another type..!

there are a lot of tails with a similar shape, I think. To me it most closely resembles Flygon's tail, so it isn't necessarily a water-type based on that alone.

I'd have to agree with that because Fire/Dark already exists, it would be nice to see some new type combinations. But I personally don't think they will be dual type in their first stage...not many *starters* are, they usually gain their second type by their third stage. With the exception of...

I'm pretty sure that's the point. The fact that tortoises don't really have ears, but Blastoise does as a Pokemon.

hm...when I first looked at the one on the left, I really saw it facing to the right, with one arm outstretched. like its face being the on the round part of the head, and the point at the back. (sort of made me think of Flygon, especially with the tail) But it seems everyone wants the pointed...

yes, I am aware that Arcanine is a canine. XD I'm just saying maybe if they make another Pokemon (possibly more feline) with a tiger pattern they could use another color scheme or something to make it different...?

And Arcanine sort of has the pattern of a tiger...it would be a little repetitive :/
