Um WPM don't you think you went way too far for doing this to the forums? Holy Star SHOULD be banned if he has done this in the past. I SURE HOPE THIS NEVER HAPPENS AGAIN. I am a little upset. I WAS NOT PLEASED. Please don't do this again because I am sure a lot of our feelings were hurt. Mine were. I am still not happy for what happened last night. It was not amusing. So sorry to those who had to go to go through the mess. I sure hope it NEVER happens again. I was not happy in the least.:)

It was funny peoples, even though I didn't really agree with it but still...

There was no need for everyone's spammy thread in "The new order" it just got really annoying...

Lol, Like when you were texting me saying that "if this is real, then I quit"? But anyways, WPM has a life, and a joke like that was worth all the doubts in my opinion.
 
I think it was fine, everyone needs to get a good laugh at themselves, no posts or threads were lost, but I think it was all in good fun! No harm no fowl, just some good ole fashion mass chaos =]

Well it was funny but I wouldve quit because there was no celadon mart which is really the only reason Im on pokebeach still...
 
I would of quit too, but I knew it was a joke because if bela really deleted it, I would of lost like, 1500 posts.

He did that on purpose.... I think.

But HS having the new userbar in 1 min. really gave it away.
 
Also I think it was to random even though I didnt know what was going since I was a sleep, but when I got up and ready HS is now banned and read it I could see that it was a hoax. But a good try. :)

You can!

Go to your User CP at the top of the screen, then go to the "Edit Options" link on the left side of the screen, then go to the "Other Options" section in the right side of the screen, click on the drop-down menu that probably says "Use Default," and there should be something called "PokeBeach Darkness."

Click on that, save the changes, and you should have the Dark Arceus/Cyrus/Giygas (did anybody else notice it was an Earthbound boss in the background?) banner! =D
 
Yeah, this one was pretty good. There were too many people who knew! I was trying my hardest to act like I was surprised at it all...

A lot of Mods and people who knew did a really good job playing their part, I feel sorry for you Myles and others who had to try and keep people from pointless Spamming. That was the only downside, people saw it as an opportunity to spam.
 
Too many flaws in planning. I missed out on the whole event because there was no schedule. :(

Like many members have said, this may not have been a good April Fool's joke. Nevertheless, it worked.

On another note, someone mentioned Rivalz being banned. I look at his profile, and his name is in red. What does this mean? Perma-ban?

Red with line through it = Temp Ban

Regular blue with line through it = Perma ban

I believe that it's in one of these helpful threads in the site discussion, but now you know ;)
 
D: I missed the whole thing. Well, I guess that's what I get for sleeping, studying and not being a school drop out. :D But this was awesome, although next year I'll expect anything to happen. I'm pretty sure I have these dates right.
2006: HS blows the Forums up.
2007: ???
2008: The main page crashes.
2009: An April fools joke makes it seem like HS blows everything up again.
2010: Blank?
2011: An April fools main page crash?

That's what I'm thinking. After all, most members will remember this and be expecting it next year. So it only makes sense that you guys do something small next year.
