Hey guys, I just joined.

I'm having problems spawning chickens. Whenever I throw down a chicken egg, it just cracks and nothing comes out. Help?

You know what is interesting to me?

Notch claims that he drowned in that picture, but look at his air bar. Could this mean... New water mob? :O

I've finally got around to mining the iron ore and coal ore that has surrounded me for quite some time now. I also had a misunderstanding with Cobblestone, and so now I can actually smelt stuff. xD

Speaking of mods, what mod(s) do you use/have used?

I personally use Mo' Creatures (Kittehs are so cute <3), but I've also used the Diamond/Dungeon Finder Compass and Single Player Commands. I will get the Aether when it is updated for 1.8.1.

On one-player? Or multi?
You can just use Super Pickaxe (//) in the chat log on multi-p.
 
I plan on getting the aether when I can, and I currently use an invediting program for making stuff, and a faster mining mod (Clears dirt but leaves the ores :D)

This is all on single player.
 
When I read Chillarmy's post, I was like: "lol, eggs are for throwing, not spawning chickens".

Well, I had an egg with me in my house. I threw it at the ground, and nothing happened. You guys are WRONG.

You guys then realise I was talking about real-life, lol.

But really, in Minecraft, I accidently spawned a chicken in my house. I eventually locked it in my Greenhouse, but still, complete lol.
 
Well, the planes mod was my fist mod, and I got it back in 1.5 I think.

Ever since then, the only mods I've installed is Single Player Commands, and Too Many Items for my development computer. Them, and my own mod I was developing. I was making a Moon mod, but someone got to it first, and I changed all my textures and names to Mars, and someone made that. XD You would be surprised on how hard it is to make a new dimension.

Got the PR2, and it is much more organized than PR1. The NPCs no longer have the names over them, and everything looks much cleaner (the item labels have a purplish border around them, which looks super cool).
 
Hoorah, I found the mineshaft/stronghold thing that I lost last time. I managed to recover my old chest down there, including Lapiz Lazuli and over a stack of coal. :D
 
I think I may of made an important discovery.

So, I was messing around with TNT in Creative, making a lava waterfall down to Bedrock. I heard about The Void, and so I put tons of TNT on the Bedrock. It went boom, and I went into total darkness, The Void. It sounded like my character was getting hurt, even though that dosen't happen in Creative. I then went into the Respawn screen, which was odd, so I clicked Respawn, and I went back to my Spawn Point, but with the default inventory. Weird, huh?
 
That happens in Creative so you don't eternally fall :p It's preset like that.

I made a house in the Void. Connected a bunch of dirt to the bottom of the bedrock and started building downward until I got to a good open space.
 
Wait. You can use TNT to blow up bedrock?

EDIT: Oh, and it seems hardcore mode is realeased in this version as well :D
