Standard The Stormy Reign of the Seismic Ninja (Gyarados EX / Slowking / Greninja / Seismitoad)

Hmm. This deck is like 6 different decks in one. I feel like first you should decide on which of these cards you'd like to focus on, then it'd be easier to trim the fat, so to speak. So there are about 6 different deck options in here: Greninja, Gyarados EX, Glalie EX, Slowking/Seismitoad EX...

Discussion Is Virizion/Genesect Even Viable Anymore?

Hi guys, LoneWolf2113 back on the forums with a bit of a question for all you beachgoers out there. Is Virizion/Genesect even a viable deck anymore? I ask this because I really, really would love to play this deck for spring regionals and, assuming that other people are also considering this...

Alt. Format Future: The Sleeping Fat Man (Snorlax / Hypno)

So a few days ago, Pokebeach revealed a Snorlax card from "Awakening of the Psychic Kings", the newest Japanese set that is yet to come out in America. I've constructed a deck where it partners with Hypno. Here it is: Pokémon: 12 4 Snorlax XY10 3 Drowzee FFI 3 Hypno BPT 2 Shaymin-EX ROS...

Discussion What's better for Oregon Winter Regionals

At St. Louis Regionals, where I'm playing.I'm taking a LandoBats deck given that it's very consistent, hits hard, and can deal with even its worst matchups fairly well. It's totally a matter of opinion, but given that we couldn't see the previous week's regionals on Twitch streams, we don't...

Discussion Community Question: Do you think Pyroar FLF Will Ever Make a Resurgance?

Hi Beachgoers! I've recently been testing for Winter Regionals on TCGOne and PTCGO. However, I've come across a few minor surprises. Notably, Pyroar FLF. Pyroar's ability blocks all damage from basic Pokemon, and, for those of you that played at Nationals 2014, you know that this card was both...

    Hoopa EX Sleeves

So I was trying to figure out sleeves to buy for regionals and wanted something with a fun design. I saw the new Hoopa EX Sleeves available at GameStop and immediately fell in love with the design. However, I'd rather not have sleeves that feel and shuffle like the sleeves available in Elite...

Event Winter Regionals: What's the Play?

Sableye is definitely the play. It's one of the strongest lock decks out there. If you're looking for something that has good matchups against almost everything, Sableye/Garbodor is the way to go.

    Discussion Hex Maniac VS Ghetsis

Personally think that Hex Maniac is the better T1 play. Even if Ghetsis nets a few cards, Hex Maniac makes sure that your opponent doesn't get to use their Shaymin EX or Hoopa EX on the following turn as well as any other abilities they may get out on their first turn.

Standard Typhlosion / Octillery / Gallade

Thanks for the feedback! After testing the suggested changes, I've found that using shuffle draw supporters and Sacred Ash/Super Rod is really improving the deck's longevity. I also added in some Brigettes to improve my chances of getting a Cyndaquil and Remoraid out Turn 1. Thanks, LoneWolf2113

Discussion What Rogues are People Playing?

My favorite rogue deck for expanded is Bronzong BRE/ Forretress FLF/ Dusknoir BCR. I've been testing it online some and it's pretty fun and effective.

Standard Chaos Control (Giratina EX / Aromatisse)

Really the only things that this had trouble with was Mienshao, since it can stall and use basic energy, and Raikou/Magnezone since it uses basic energy entirely. But all in all the deck functions pretty solidly and consistently. @Lamm_Von_Gott I will definitely look into this. I'll try some...

Standard Mienshao for Cities (Mienshao FFI / Hawlucha)

The thing about Super Rod though, is that I never seem to be running out of energy. Don't get me wrong, I love Super Rod a lot. It's crazy good, but I just think Sacred Ash is a bit more efficient. @Asmer, what would you recommend I remove to make space for a Xerosic? Thanks! LoneWolf2113
